And I guess when you get 10k, you get upgrades around here. Everybody welcome. Pl is what I call her. Producer Liv. How you doing, girl?
[00:00:59] Speaker B: I am doing great, Twitty. How are you?
[00:01:01] Speaker A: I'm doing good. You know, I figured first time on the show with us. Well, just with me for right now. I'm throwing you in the fire.
I need to know how you load your dishwasher. I think there is no right or wrong way, but we all got our different ways. So I'm going to ask you certain utensils, certain plates, and where you place them on the dishwasher. I'm going to give my opinion as well. Get in the comments, by the way, also, how you load your dishwasher. I'm going to start, which I think should be a common one, and we're going to go utensils, fork, spoons, knives.
Producer L. Are you handles up or handles down?
[00:01:43] Speaker B: Honestly, I have learned my mom gets on me about this. You put it down. Because if you put it up, like with a spoon, like, I guess it like sprays water everywhere, makes a mess. She has gotten on me about that. So,
[00:01:57] Speaker A: see, no,
[00:01:58] Speaker B: I've been doing it down.
[00:01:59] Speaker A: No disrespect the mom. See, I may handle handles up because I don't want to grab what just got cleaned. It makes no sense to me. So in my house, I do handles up. So I grab the handle. So therefore my fingers aren't on the end of the part of the utensil that people are going to touch. I already know it's going to be a hard discussion to talk about, but go ahead get in the comments. Say I'm wrong.
I don't think so. It makes no sense that you're going to put handles down so then the dishwasher can clean it and then you're going to take your dirty hands and touch the ends of a fork or a knife or a spoon or a butter knife that then will go in somebody else's mouth or your own mouth. So I'm just saying. I know I said there is no right or wrong, but I think when it comes to the utensil side, you got to go that way. I'm sorry, it's just, I just, it makes, it makes no sense. Okay. And also to people that made the dishwashers that have the little cover where you're supposed to place the forks and knives in. Stupid idea. Like waste of an idea. Because like I said, if you do it my way, that's like bacteria in reverse. So whoever designed that, thinking that's cute and productive. No trash idea. Need to get rid of those. Should never be invented. The only thing I will say that they invented that was smart is you can at least take the utensil handle itself out to then put the utensils up. And fun fact, shout out to my sister in law. You can make it more easier to unload the dishwasher if you put all utensils in one section. So if you put all your forks in one area and all your spoons in one section. So then when you grab them all, oh my gosh, you got all the forks and you got all the spoons and then you got all of the knives. Again, shout out to my sister in law. She gave me that little tidbit like three, four months ago. It's been a game changer. But I think handles need to be up. It needs to be the first thing you grab out of the dishwasher.
[00:04:00] Speaker B: You think it also depends on like how it sits in the dishwasher because I had one that
[00:04:06] Speaker A: you
[00:04:06] Speaker B: lay it flat and then that's where we would put handle in. But this new one that we got, you like put it down.
[00:04:15] Speaker A: Yeah, I know. I still think, I still think it should. I think that doesn't matter. I think it goes handles down 100% of the time. I don't think that that wouldn't change. At least for me it wouldn't change. I don't know. Get in the comments if you think that changes your opinion.
So we're going to go to utensils still because I think this deserves a second different spot still utensils but now we're talking serving utensils, so I'm talking tongs, spatulas, things of that nature. Producer L. For me, those go on the top rack.
Top rack. Don't put them on the bottom rack. Don't stick them in the forks and little utensil handbag. I think serving utensils have to go on that top rack. You agree, disagree, or where are you putting them?
[00:05:05] Speaker B: So things like tongs and wooden spoons.
I do put that down. Like, you put it down. So you pick it up by the handle inside the utensil, little rack.
[00:05:16] Speaker A: How do you put it in there, though? Because sometimes the handle's too long, and I feel like it's gonna. It's gonna hit the actual blade of the dishwasher.
[00:05:23] Speaker B: And then if I can't like, even, like, spatulas, like those. Those are too big. You can't put those on.
[00:05:30] Speaker A: No.
[00:05:31] Speaker B: And those.
Honestly, I. I've been putting it wherever it fits.
[00:05:36] Speaker A: Okay. I was
[00:05:37] Speaker B: gonna. Bottom. It fits on the top. That's where I'm gonna
[00:05:39] Speaker A: put. Yep. Okay, so you are a. So if the dishwasher is full and you've got the spatula, you are a. It goes where it can fit, whether that's top or bottom. Are you still trying to keep it on the top?
[00:05:54] Speaker B: Well,
[00:05:55] Speaker A: these are legit questions here.
[00:05:59] Speaker B: Let's say last night I had room on the top, so I put it on the top.
[00:06:03] Speaker A: Huh.
[00:06:03] Speaker B: And two weeks ago, I had room on the bottom, so I put it on the bottom.
[00:06:08] Speaker A: Okay, I.
I agree, but I really prefer not to put on that bottom. I really prefer the top.
And if you were to ask me why. I can't explain that part. I just.
[00:06:19] Speaker B: Why is that, Twitty?
[00:06:20] Speaker A: I don't. I don't know. I just. It just feels. Feels more safe, as if, like, it won't fall. I don't know why that's a dumb thing to think, but for me, any utensil, it has to go on top. Unless I'm in a real, real pinch, I'll put her on the bottom. But if I got options, spatulas, all that, they're going up top. And I am somebody that is not afraid to stick it on top of something because it is a serving utensil. It does not have to be, like, on the bottom, bottom of the rack. I do wish that it is. But like you said, if I've already organized that dishwasher to my liking and I forgot about that spatula, I'll just throw that bad boy on top of something. Else I'll. It'll get clean. I'm not, I'm not one of those people, but I do prefer it being on the top rack. That is how I live my life. Speaking of the top rack, I feel like this should also be a no brainer here when it comes to loading that dishwasher. That top rack, first priority is cups.
[00:07:19] Speaker B: Yes, absolutely.
[00:07:19] Speaker A: And I'm talking your standard glass, wine glass, beer glass, coffee mugs.
What else you got up in there as cups, Serving cups. Like I. All cups, all cups top. Ta, ta, ta, ta ta ta top. No if, no ands, no buts. Cups belong up top. I better not catch a cup on the bottom. Unless.
Unless it's the last minute and it can fit. I really don't like that. But cups are up top. No if, ands or buts. I better not see somebody loading a dishwasher and you got the whole arsenal and you just going to put a cup on the bottom. That ain't what the bottom is for. The bottom's for the heavy duties.
Producer L. Do you agree cups that go up top.
[00:08:04] Speaker B: Absolutely. I think the only time I will put. I guess I don't know if it's considered cups, but like my water bottles, my hydro flask, my Stanley. Yeah, because
[00:08:15] Speaker A: those are bigger. Those won't fit up there. Yeah, yeah, no, I'm talking, I'm talking standard.
[00:08:19] Speaker B: Yeah, it'll go on top.
[00:08:20] Speaker A: Yeah, I'm talking your standard stuff. But yeah, the hydro flask, the, the bigger, the bigger water jugs, I guess we'll call them.
Those go in the bottom. But every, every other cup, like you said, you bring the family over Thanksgiving, like coming up, those cups, they go up top. No if, ands or buts,
[00:08:38] Speaker B: I guess. Would you rather.
[00:08:40] Speaker A: Okay, hit me
[00:08:41] Speaker B: with cups. If you. Let's say you do run out of room. You have no room. Are you the one that will just hand wash it or you will put it at the bottom?
[00:08:50] Speaker A: Nah, I will put it on the bottom.
I don't like it. But like I said, that's got. It has to be. I've done everything else and a last minute cup decided to come along for the ride. I will find a spot for that cup. It will get on the express train of clean.
I don't like it, but I will, I will make it work because I already re. Already organized the top. The bottom's probably got somewhere it can go. I don't like it. But just know if you ever do see a bottom cup on the bottom in my house, it must have Been last minute. It wasn't in the threshold at the beginning. And I said, I'm going to save this for the bottom. Nope, I ain't doing that. Only way it gets on the bottom for me is it's a last minute thing, so I'm not opposed to it if circumstances come that way again, I'm not. I'm not just doing it for my health. I'm doing it because I want to get this load done and I don't want to have to hand wash something because hand washing, I'm already doing that. Which comes to my next thing.
When it comes to hand washing. No pots, no pans, none of those are in the dishwasher for me. I'm sorry,
[00:09:55] Speaker B: really?
[00:09:56] Speaker A: Nope.
[00:09:56] Speaker B: Not
[00:09:57] Speaker A: no.
No, obviously no. Cast iron skillet, no.
Oh, what's that glass thing that you usually do for pasta's called?
[00:10:06] Speaker B: Crock pot.
[00:10:07] Speaker A: Thank you. The little crock pot container that ain't going in there.
Like I said, no pans, no pots, not even the lids.
No.
No cookie sheets. None of those. Those are all hand washed. They don't go into the dishwasher because then they get messed up.
You got quiet. So I'm assuming you put pots and pans. Producer L. You sound. You got real quiet. I couldn't even hear you breathe.
[00:10:32] Speaker B: I'm just listening. I'm
[00:10:33] Speaker A: just hearing
[00:10:34] Speaker B: this. But no. Okay. I go back and forth because at my old house, we had two sinks where one was. You wash it and then you just place it
[00:10:43] Speaker A: in
[00:10:44] Speaker B: the sink and let it dry. But at my new house, we just have one full on sick, which, you know what? If I have to hand. I like to hand wash my pots, my pans, but if I can, which I've been doing lately, I've been putting it in the dishwasher because there's room and I do a quick cycle and it gets it done real quickly. But if there is no room, then that's when I hand wash it.
[00:11:05] Speaker A: Gotcha. Yeah. No, for me, it's.
I might put a lid in there. I might put the lid of my pot, but the actual pot itself, and yup. I don't care how nasty it looks, I will clean it. Yup. If it's got green bean casserole in, I'm gonna scrape all that out and I'm gonna clean it by hand. But none of my pots, my cooking pots are going in the dishwasher. It's a. No, no. I'm sorry. That's just how I grew up. And it's just the thought of, like, that dishwasher could destroy them. Again, get in the comments. By the way, you agree or disagree? I want to know your order.
I want to get to a real juicy one here that me and my buddy almost got to a fight.
[00:11:43] Speaker B: Oh, wow.
[00:11:44] Speaker A: Okay. Yeah, this
[00:11:45] Speaker B: is.
[00:11:45] Speaker A: This is because this one has levels to it.
Tupperware.
[00:11:49] Speaker B: Oh,
[00:11:50] Speaker A: yeah.
[00:11:50] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:11:51] Speaker A: There's layers to the Tupperware. So me and my buddy disagreed because I said the lids of Tupperware to me go on the bottom and the Tupperware container itself goes on top. He said they both go up top.
And for me, lids are a bottom rack and the actual Tupperware container itself goes on top. And it doesn't matter the size. For me, like the little Tupperwares, the medium size, the big size, all lids go on the bottom. And an actual Tupperware itself that holds everything goes up top.
I. He thought I was crazy. He thought that's like the one written rule is that all Tupperware goes up top. But I. There is something about lids that belong on the bottom. I don't know why. If it's a lid, it goes on the bottom for me. I don't know. I might be crazy. There might be some people that will be in them comments hating, but that's. That's how I feel. Like I said, because when you think about it, I also put it like this. I already got cups on the top, already got spatulas and tongs on the top.
I can't put all the lids on the top. I still got room on the bottom. So we're going to start with the lids that are flat and decent sizes. They can go in the slits real nicely, they can go up top, but they're going to take up my middle space, which is for my tongs and for the actual Tupperware. There's a science to me when it comes to this dishwasher. And if you're visualizing makes sense because I'm putting cups on the outside, then we're going lids on the bottom.
Then you got your utensils and their little thing, and I got all my spatulas and all that on the base of the bottom. So then I can take Tupperware containers and sit those on top of my serving utensils. Hence, best place for my lids on the bottom, because we ain't got none on the bottom yet. I ain't even hit the things that go on the bottom, which I do got a list of. But the bottom right now is clean and empty, and we can put lids on There.
Did I lose you? Pl. Did I lose you? Make sense.
[00:13:59] Speaker B: I love that you have a system,
[00:14:00] Speaker A: right. And it works like. I think it works like. Yeah, there's some things that you got to finagle a little bit. But to me, Tupperware lids, they got to go on the bottom, but the Tupperware themselves can go up top.
[00:14:13] Speaker B: You know, I've never. You're probably one of the first that I've heard of that. Like, it doesn't matter. Like, little Tupperwares, big Tupperwares. The lid is on the bottom.
[00:14:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:14:22] Speaker B: Like, okay,
[00:14:22] Speaker A: it makes sense.
[00:14:23] Speaker B: You know, when I do wash my pots and pans and I do have a lid, those do go on the bottom. Right. I could kind of see where you're going.
[00:14:29] Speaker A: You're. You already got lids on the bottom. Shouldn't matter what type of lid it is. It's the lid. So let's just stick them on the bottom. Like they're one big lid family. That's how I look at
[00:14:38] Speaker B: it as a system.
And we have what's on our bottom, But I think on the top. Unless I just never learned. And mom. I'm sorry, but
[00:14:50] Speaker A: calling out mom.
[00:14:52] Speaker B: But when it top it really, like, yeah, it's your small stuff, but we don't have anything specific. Like, all.
Maybe the big utensils will go on top and then little. Obviously the utensils are on its own. But when it comes to Tupperware, lately we got a new set, and we've been putting, like, the container itself on top.
[00:15:18] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:15:19] Speaker B: And the lids, they don't dry properly. They don't get washed properly. And they will go on top, but
[00:15:28] Speaker A: on the bottom, they get clean. I'm just saying,
[00:15:31] Speaker B: you know, maybe I'll try that.
[00:15:32] Speaker A: You got to give it a try, Pl. You got to give it a try. I'm just saying.
[00:15:35] Speaker B: But lately I've just been hand washing my lids.
[00:15:39] Speaker A: When in doubt, hand wash it out.
[00:15:41] Speaker B: Absolutely.
[00:15:42] Speaker A: Get in the comments. I want to know everybody's order. I want to know if anybody's as particular as I am. I think there's some people out there that will be as particular as me.
Let's just go ahead and get the basics out. We're gonna go ahead and hit this bottom rack real quick. Bottom rack, real simple plates, small place the big plates. They go on the bottoms. And I will occasionally put in a bowl, you know, serving bowl, a soup bowl. Those can be on the bottom. That's my bay. Those are my bottom things.
Trying to think of anything else that would Go on the bottom.
Oh, I did lie. Sorry. Not all Tupperware. So you know.
[00:16:18] Speaker B: You lied. That's crazy. Twitter.
[00:16:20] Speaker A: Well, I had
[00:16:21] Speaker B: to. Crazy.
[00:16:22] Speaker A: I partially lied because I know the people. Pl. You're going to start noticing the people in the comments.
They hold you to what you say. So I'm going to take it back.
When it comes to Tupperware, and you got that giant bowl, Tupperware that you can put, you know, like macaroni in or potato salad in that bowl, and the lid will go on the bottom because it's too big to fit on top. But I had to verify that. So I'm talking the big Tupperware bowl that you put leftovers in.
That and the lid go on the bottom. So I had to specify that because I did say all Tupperware only goes on top unless it's one of the big bowls. It has to go on the bottom. It's common sense.
I know our people. I know the listeners. They gonna get on me. So I just had to verify that. And I take that back, but that covers the bottom. You've got your big plates, you got the small plates, you got the big bowls, you got regular bowls.
Those are all gonna go on the bottom because it's got the most space.
Like, I feel like. I feel like anybody that puts a plate on the top. I got a lot of questions for you. Like, I really do. First of all, you can't put a big plate, but I do know there are the small plates or the, like, appetizer plates that can fit.
Not for me, dog. Nope. Put them on the bottom. Put them on the bottom.
[00:17:44] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:17:44] Speaker A: Put them on the bottom.
[00:17:46] Speaker B: No. Okay. Okay. So kind of like what I was saying, like, I moved to a new house. We have two different dishwashers, and at my old house, this was our, like, setup. Okay.
[00:17:58] Speaker A: Okay. Hit me.
[00:17:58] Speaker B: So we have in the back.
This is definitely what my mom has taught me. And I will. I agree with this 100%. But I don't know. What do you think? 20. So we have the big plates in the back.
[00:18:12] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:18:13] Speaker B: And then
[00:18:14] Speaker A: back of the bottom.
[00:18:15] Speaker B: Back of the bottom. Yep. Yes, I
[00:18:16] Speaker A: agree.
[00:18:17] Speaker B: Yes. And then we have, like, the small plates will also fit in there. And if you don't have room, we put it on top.
[00:18:24] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. I always respect if there's not room, they can go up top. But I'm not just. We got an empty dishwasher. We just going to throw small plates up top. No,
[00:18:34] Speaker B: but I will say, because we have even smaller plates, that my cats Eat out of. That's their little, like. Oh, I'm fine dining. And they have this cute little plate that they eat off of. Those go on top?
[00:18:45] Speaker A: No, no, those
[00:18:47] Speaker B: go on top. And then, like, the big family, like, dining bowls. Front row of the bottom.
[00:18:55] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:18:56] Speaker B: And then whatever. Like, the smaller cereal bowls will continue to go on the bottom.
[00:19:02] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:19:03] Speaker B: But we do have really small bowls that my cats will eat sometimes some food out of. We, like, crack eggs in it to, like, put it in our breakfast dish. Those go on top?
[00:19:13] Speaker A: Yes. Okay. Okay. I will take that back. Yes. Not all bows. You do have smaller. Smaller, like a. Not even a soup side. What would you even. Yeah,
[00:19:21] Speaker B: like,
[00:19:21] Speaker A: at a restaurant.
[00:19:22] Speaker B: It's. For me. It can fit four eggs in it.
[00:19:25] Speaker A: Yeah, those. Yes, those can go up top. Because again, they're so small. The small, small plate, I think is. I think it's built for the bottom. I think it's built for the bottom. It's built to do it. It's meant to be down there. It's meant to get. Get all that power, that water. I don't know, something about a plate. I just. Like you said, unless it can't fit, it don't deserve to be up top.
[00:19:46] Speaker B: Then you're really going to hate me right now. It
[00:19:48] Speaker A: deserves to be a bottom
[00:19:50] Speaker B: because I. We're still, I guess, kind of figuring out our system at my new house. But I have been putting bowls on top
[00:19:59] Speaker A: because there isn't space. So you're just. You're just throwing it out? You're just putting them
[00:20:02] Speaker B: on top?
[00:20:03] Speaker A: No, pl.
[00:20:04] Speaker B: Because all my pots and pans go on the bottom.
[00:20:06] Speaker A: Oh, but that's. Okay. So for how. How you do things that make sense. Cause like I said, I'm not putting pots and pans in the dishwasher at all. So I guess if you're a pots and pans person, they gotta go on the bottom, which then means you got only space up top. So I. I'll let it slide.
I don't like it. But for what you're doing, and you're already doing a decent amount that I approve of, I will. I will let the bowl sit up top. They can go there. They can fit. And you don't have any other room on the bottom.
I won't be upset about that. I can. I can let that ride. I can let that ride. But I'm
[00:20:41] Speaker B: curious now, I don't know if you were. If this was on your list or not, but what about cutting boards?
Do you put them in the dishwasher or do you hand wash them?
[00:20:48] Speaker A: Cutting boards are 50, 50 for me, man. It's a.
It shockingly depends on my mood. So if I, if I've like hand washed my pots and my pans, which I do, and then I've also, you know, had to clean, I don't know, maybe like the air fryer or my cast iron skillet, and I'm like tapped out on hand Washington. I'll put a cutting board in the dishwasher.
[00:21:12] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:21:13] Speaker A: I prefer to hand wash it. And yes, cutting board is going on the bottom and it is going on the bottom vertically. I'm not putting that bad boy horizontal. That's wasting too much space. Cutting board is built to be either to me on the edges of the dishwasher or in the middle where you got that one slot where you can't fit anything else but a cutting board.
[00:21:33] Speaker B: And you said vertical or horizontal?
[00:21:36] Speaker A: Horizontal, sorry, horizontal.
But I prefer to hand wash it.
[00:21:40] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:21:42] Speaker A: That's probably the only, only dish I can think of that I'm like 50, 50 about like. I'm not mad if it does go in there or if it doesn't. I can live on both sides of that train. The cutting board, because it's kind of special, you know, it's. It's built to be in there. It can fit in there perfectly. But it's a cutting board, so it's flat. It doesn't have a lot of crevices. So it can also just get washed.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: Absolutely.
[00:22:02] Speaker A: So cutting board is a, is a good. Why didn't I had it on my list? Because that's my 50. 50. There's only. There's that.
And I think that's really the only other thing I don't put in there. Like, I think a cutting board is about 50, 50. Everything else has a design purpose, I think.
[00:22:17] Speaker B: Okay. What about kitchen scissors?
Do you hand
[00:22:20] Speaker A: hand wash? Those got to be hand washed.
[00:22:22] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:22:22] Speaker A: Yeah, those got to be hand so. Oh, okay. You brought up a good point.
I said knives, but the nice knives hand washed.
[00:22:33] Speaker B: Really?
[00:22:34] Speaker A: Yeah, yeah. So my, my scissors are part of a.
Is a part of a 24 piece knife set.
[00:22:43] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:22:44] Speaker A: Those, no dishwashing. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[00:22:48] Speaker B: Does it say not to dishwash? No,
[00:22:49] Speaker A: you can, but I feel like when. No, because those knives don't get used every day. Those are like, those are my steak knives for when I have steaks, for when people come over. I got a pork chop, you know, got ribs. Those knives don't come out all the time. They don't need. They don't need to go through the regular cycle. They got to get hand washed because then you're going to mess up the hand because they got like a nice handle design on the back.
I can't, can't let those just get dishwasher. No, those are, those are hand wash worthy. Those aren't dishwashers. So nice knives.
We're not putting them in a dishwasher.
[00:23:21] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:23:21] Speaker A: You know, a knife that I've had since college, you know, it can go in there. It's. It's the. I want to cut my sandwich, but I need more than like a butter knife. So I'll whip out that kind of knife. It's not the, you know, I'm having
[00:23:35] Speaker B: you
[00:23:35] Speaker A: and you and the crew over and we're gonna bring out the good stuff, the good knives. Those aren't getting. No, don't you put that in the dishwasher. Don't you put that in the dishwasher. Don't you do it. It's kind of on the same level with me with pots and pans. My nice knives in my pots.
You ain't gonna never catch them in the dishwasher. I will happily, if I go to somebody else's house, I will happily wash those by hand. For you to not have it be in the dishwasher, I'd be like, just put, just leave them in the. Just leave them in. Just leave them in the, in the sink. I got you. Just leave them. Just leave it in the sink. I'll take care of it. Because it doesn't deserve to be in a dishwasher. Like it's not an everyday thing you use.
That's how I am. I'm just saying. So. So I feel like again, get in the comments, let me know what you think.
And you can describe it how I did, but we can keep it basic. I feel like the biggest ones are utensils, plates, Tupperware and pots and pans. We'll go with those four. Get in the comments where they belong or how they're placed in the dishwasher. People, I'm sorry, you have handles down with utensils.
I got, we got a problem. We need to have a conversation. We're gonna, we're gonna sit down somewhere. We're gonna have a lunch on me. We're gonna have a chit chat. I just, you just can't convince me that that's the right way. You just can't. And don't get to me about my dishwasher has the thing you don't gotta use that thing, rip it off. It's stupid. Anybody that made a dishwasher that has that little thing that flaps so you can place utensils in a stupid. It's the dumbest thing I think, ever. I don't know why they made us on dishwashers. Because you're teaching us to do it the wrong way. I'm sorry.
[00:25:16] Speaker B: So it should be inside or I guess I'm trying to, like, think of how this is. You
[00:25:21] Speaker A: shouldn't have that little flippy. What is that flippy thing doing? It does nothing. Like I think about it, you put the flips down and you're going to put each individual utensil in there. Okay. Guess what? When the dishes are done, you either gotta pull them out by one or unflip it so you can grab all of them like it's. It does nothing. If you ask me. I don't think it does anything other than, like, slow down your process when you're done doing dishes. Because when I do it, like I said, I have them handles down and I try to put all the forks together, all the spoons together, all the knives together. And then, oh, my gosh, when I get done, I can grab all the. All the fork handles, take them out, put them in the drawer. I can take all the spoons. Like that little handle thing. Stupid. Stupidest design, I think, in a dishwasher. Anybody that is in the dishwasher business, I'm sorry, it's a dumb idea. Somebody should have fired a dude that said that was a great idea. I'm just like, should have been fired. Dumbest accessory in a dishwasher.
[00:26:21] Speaker B: No, I'm going to be taking notes because growing up, my brother. My brother and I had chores and my brother was always one that did the dishwashing. So he probably knows the system with my family more than me.
[00:26:32] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:26:33] Speaker B: But my mom does get on me about things like that. I think especially
[00:26:38] Speaker A: it's a serious discussion. I'm probably going to have some people debating this in their own house. When they heard this, they probably paused this and dog them. Was like, hey, go check my dishwasher right now. Yeah, go check it. You know what?
[00:26:48] Speaker B: You're going to hate my dishwasher at home right now.
[00:26:50] Speaker A: You know what? Get in the comments if you are brave enough. Send a picture.
I'll even start it. I'll send a picture. I'll post a picture of my dishwasher with dishes in it.
I'll do it. Post wash. We can do it. Post wash. When it's done getting Washed. We can see clean dishes. Take a picture. I want to see the layout of your dishwasher. I'm judging. Yep. Judging people off of dishwashers. That's how I roll around here.
[00:27:14] Speaker B: Okay, wait, I guess really quick just because we're still talking about, like, utensils. Not utensils, but
[00:27:19] Speaker A: the dishwasher.
[00:27:20] Speaker B: Like, dishes. Gosh, I can't think of the word.
Oh, Tupperware. Duh. That's the word.
What are your thoughts on plastic Tupperware? Do you use plastic or do you use glass? Does it matter? Like, what are your thoughts on that?
[00:27:34] Speaker A: I have both.
[00:27:35] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:27:36] Speaker A: Plastic. Tupperware is for meat.
Metal. Tupperware, glass. Tupperware is for anything that's saucy because sauce is hard to get off of a plastic Tupperware. So anything that is saucy goes in glass, like a soup, any. Like a tomato paste enchiladas, they go into the glass. But if it's just like a steak or corn or potatoes, they can go in the plastic because there's nothing saucy about that. So you don't get that ring. Everybody knows about that ring that goes around some Tupperware that you knew somebody put some spaghetti in because then you can't get it out. Although thc, I'm gonna let him tell us on the next episode whenever he gets back. He's not here, by the way, because he lost his voice. He has a trick to cleaning plastic Tupperware to get that ring out. Matter of fact, he's probably watching. Get in the comments and ask him about his Tupperware trick to get rid of rings. He'll tell you. And it requires one. Two requires three things, and two of them are liquids.
[00:28:35] Speaker B: Soap water,
[00:28:36] Speaker A: soap water, soap water. And I forgot the third.
[00:28:41] Speaker B: A sponge.
[00:28:42] Speaker A: I think it's like, no, not even a sponge. It's not even a sponge. It's less than that. It's more delicate than that. You don't use a sponge. A sponge won't work. And I've actually done this before at the work, and it doesn't work.
You got to use a third thing. And I forgot what it is. But it's not a sponge. That's a good guess, Pl. But it ain't a sponge.
