[00:00:00] Speaker A: Don Julio, Patron, drinks, dancing. And then after that, I don't know, we left that like probably at one o'. Clock. 20 in the city. [00:00:14] Speaker B: Aloha. [00:00:18] Speaker A: Go ahead. [00:00:19] Speaker B: No, no, no, no, no, no. I really want you to start this one. No, 100%. 100%. I would love for you to start this. Yeah, come on. No, I mean, we only. What, man, 45 minutes. [00:00:35] Speaker A: Can I at least just do the spill and. [00:00:37] Speaker B: Sure. [00:00:38] Speaker A: Okay. Thank you. [00:00:39] Speaker B: Sure. [00:00:40] Speaker A: Oh, this might be one of the roughest podcasts of my life. Just got back from a freaking wedding party vacation and lay. What's up? This is Twitty in the City. I am Twitty. That's thc. Hello there, the Hawaiian comedian. Thank you all for hitting the like and hitting the subscribe. If you haven't. Please do. We appreciate you, thc. [00:01:06] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:01:06] Speaker A: In the comments. Comment. And you guys are commenting like crazy. [00:01:09] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:01:10] Speaker A: Mean that in a good way though. We love that. And our new goal is 5k and subscribers. So let's keep it climbing because I put a very low number like three, four episodes ago. Oh, man, crush that. [00:01:20] Speaker B: Oh, man, crush it. [00:01:21] Speaker A: Just made me look stupid. [00:01:23] Speaker B: Crushed it. Thank you to everybody out there, for real. [00:01:26] Speaker A: Thank you guys. This is awesome. But yeah, I. I got a story I'mma tell, but first. [00:01:32] Speaker B: Yeah, let's just get it out the way. [00:01:33] Speaker A: No, my story was not related to what happened. It happened accidentally, but I will let you have the floor. [00:01:39] Speaker B: No, no, no, no, no. It's not that. [00:01:41] Speaker A: This is a beating I gotta take. [00:01:44] Speaker B: I like to be punctual. I like to be at places where I know what time and when I please say. [00:01:49] Speaker A: As do I. Please say your partner does too. [00:01:51] Speaker B: I know you do. I know you do. But this is number two, ain't it? This is number two. Hey, what time we starting? Oh, man, we gonna get in there. I'm gonna. You know, we got 4:30 and. You know, I even remember. [00:02:03] Speaker A: Wait, wait, wait. Hey, hey, hey. First time I slipped up, we was early. I take that still. [00:02:11] Speaker B: No, no, no. I was early. [00:02:13] Speaker A: Yes, I was on time. I just made you early. [00:02:17] Speaker B: Yeah, you made me early. [00:02:19] Speaker A: But don't make it sound like we've been late twice. [00:02:21] Speaker B: Whether I'm late or I'm early to. To the. There's things that I had to put aside or things you. [00:02:27] Speaker A: Right. The floor is yours. I'm sorry. [00:02:28] Speaker B: No, it's okay. It's all right. Just. [00:02:31] Speaker A: I don't want the people to think. [00:02:32] Speaker B: 3:30, 4:30 is a huge difference. I just said. You know what he's probably still on Portugal time. Any probably still out there on that same time. You're not even in our time frame. [00:02:42] Speaker A: So I will explain. [00:02:43] Speaker B: Go ahead. [00:02:44] Speaker A: So what happened? Because I was traveling yesterday, and I told producer Sean. He's the one that pitches in every now and then. He's also the ones that does the sound effects. [00:02:53] Speaker B: Mm. [00:02:54] Speaker A: I was telling him, don't let me schedule us to be doing an episode the day after I'm coming back because I'm in Dallas's airport. I check my phone to confirm what time. Kind of forgot. Don't matter where you set the time. It's gonna remind you the time based on what time zone you in. [00:03:21] Speaker B: Correct. [00:03:21] Speaker A: And so I was in central time. And so I went to go look at my phone. It said, podcast recording tomorrow, 4:30. Not thinking 4:30 Central Time. So when I get back to mountain, it is 3:30. So because I checked it yesterday, I didn't check it at all today. And so when you asked me, I was confident because I was like, I checked yesterday. And I was like, 4:30. And then you even brought up the fact that you're like, twitty, like, our producer has to be gone. [00:03:58] Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. [00:03:59] Speaker A: You're like, are you sure? And then I. And then in my mind, I'm like, I am sure. I checked. And he's the one that scheduled the time. So we for sure. Good. Didn't realize it was 4:30 central time. [00:04:15] Speaker B: Well, we need to tell our producer Mountain time. We need to tell our producer we owe him 20 puller, 20 push ups. We owe him 20 push ups. [00:04:21] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. I told him he was ready go. [00:04:23] Speaker B: He was ready to go. [00:04:24] Speaker A: He called. Yeah. I appreciate you, man. I'm sorry, Sean. So, yeah, like I said, don't ever let me. Allow me to schedule something while I'm traveling. I need at least. Because I would have had a buffer day, and then my phone would have switched, and I would have checked, but because it was the day after, I was just like, oh, yeah, we good. So I'm sorry, we are here. [00:04:46] Speaker B: Yes. Yes. So we got that cleared up. Let's. Let's. Let's move it. Let's move it. [00:04:49] Speaker A: Yeah. So I have sunglasses on because my eyes are bloodshot red. Because this weekend, not even this weekend, half of last week, I was gone. You can hear it in my voice. I was in Portugal, which, by the way, congratulations to Deon and Marissa Quick. They got married. I've known both of them since high school. Finally did it. Finally got married. I can't Believe I went to an actual wedding. [00:05:18] Speaker B: Why? [00:05:19] Speaker A: Because this was not a wedding. This wasn't your typical wedding. [00:05:22] Speaker B: Well, when you was using words like palace. [00:05:25] Speaker A: Yes. [00:05:25] Speaker B: And you were describing what was going on and I was keeping communication with you out there, I was like, wow. [00:05:30] Speaker A: Yep. [00:05:30] Speaker B: So yeah. [00:05:30] Speaker A: So I put it on your phone so you could see. Also for those that are viewing, producer Sean is going to put these up as I'm talking about them. And yes, producer Sean, you'll have them. They should be in your email here. [00:05:42] Speaker B: And they might be an hour late though. [00:05:44] Speaker A: See how many? [00:05:46] Speaker B: Okay, last one. [00:05:47] Speaker A: How many? [00:05:47] Speaker B: That's the last one. [00:05:48] Speaker A: Nah, that's gonna. [00:05:48] Speaker B: That's the last one. [00:05:49] Speaker A: No more. Make it to at least three or four episodes. [00:05:51] Speaker B: No, because I was giving you. I was giving you a lot of shit before we even started. Yeah, you know what? [00:05:55] Speaker A: It was. [00:05:56] Speaker B: That's it. [00:05:56] Speaker A: It was deserved. Because I was way off. Because you're right. It's a difference between being 30 minutes off, being an hour was a full hour. So. No. So first off, this is where I stayed. This wasn't even where the wedding was at. So this is the Pastanya Pistana in Lisbon, Portugal. [00:06:16] Speaker B: Pastanya or Pastana. [00:06:18] Speaker A: Pastana, sorry, Pistana Palace. And so this palace, as you can see, two story stairwell, dining room area. Super nice. And I've never been in a palace, so pulled up immediately, two guys come and grab my bags, ask me if I'm coming to stay. I'm like, yes. They're like, do you have a reservation? They go look me up on an old school book. [00:06:43] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm. I'm noticing like how all the architecture. [00:06:46] Speaker A: Especially in the stairway, like nothing modern. [00:06:49] Speaker B: That stairwell is like that. Like how many floors? [00:06:52] Speaker A: Two. [00:06:52] Speaker B: It was two floors. [00:06:53] Speaker A: So it's two floors. But then they also built expanders on the side of the palace, which I couldn't get a photo of. But that's where the rooms are. [00:07:01] Speaker B: Elevators. Yeah, okay. [00:07:03] Speaker A: Yeah, they had the elevators. Elevators are modern. They obviously upgraded. Right stuff. But yeah, that whole palace area was the entertainment area. [00:07:12] Speaker B: Nice. [00:07:12] Speaker A: So that's where you ate. You could just be in one of these random rooms. [00:07:16] Speaker B: Okay. [00:07:17] Speaker A: Just having a coffee, having a drink, trying to make a reservation. And then on the backside you also had open area, a pool. Doggone. There was a restaurant outside of the palace, but inside of the palaces facilities, if that makes sense. [00:07:38] Speaker B: I got you. [00:07:38] Speaker A: I got you. Just crazy stuff. [00:07:40] Speaker B: So I'm looking at the grandfather clocks in the dining room. [00:07:43] Speaker A: Yeah, bro. Everything in there made you think like, this is legit so that's how. That was day one. That's how I pulled up and I was like, oh, okay. We live. [00:07:52] Speaker B: Works. [00:07:53] Speaker A: We live in that good life. As a matter of fact, here, I'm gonna send it to you right now. Thc. Here is the. Where's that one at night? I took a photo at night of the. I can't find it either way. Beautiful. So that's night one, right? Well, that's night one. So then that evening you saw on social. I'm doing a sunset boat tour. [00:08:18] Speaker B: Correct. [00:08:18] Speaker A: So we're on the. It was called the Tagus T A G U S Tagus River. [00:08:23] Speaker B: Okay. [00:08:24] Speaker A: Which was like a bay that divided you. Because I didn't know Portugal also has the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. [00:08:31] Speaker B: Like what? What do you mean? [00:08:32] Speaker A: Same one, same architect built both. [00:08:35] Speaker B: Oh, okay, okay, okay. [00:08:36] Speaker A: Exactly the same. [00:08:37] Speaker B: Huh? [00:08:38] Speaker A: He just. He built the one in San Fran, then went to Portugal, built the exact same one. The one in Portugal is a couple of diameters smaller, but taller. [00:08:50] Speaker B: You got to pay toll to go over that one. [00:08:52] Speaker A: Nope. [00:08:52] Speaker B: Yeah, see, there's a difference. I know what it costs to pay toll over the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge. [00:08:57] Speaker A: But no, that was. It was cool. So it was a nice sunset. On drinking wine. Living my best life. That's day one. Day two comes and then we are on the beach and we have a three, four cabanas blocked off. And it's a beach party for the whole party. Grooms, bridesmaids, family, friends, plus ones, open bar, food. And then literally, probably from me to behind you is the beach. Sand, water. Get done with that. And also through this whole process, that's why my voice is fried, because I was talking. Consuming tequila. Consuming whiskey. [00:09:45] Speaker B: Yeah, you. I was. I was listening to you tell the folks how your trip was going today. And. And I almost got down the whole menu in my head of what you had. You was like, tequila, whiskey sour, whiskey. [00:09:56] Speaker A: Sours, old fashioned tequila, old fashions. [00:10:00] Speaker B: You was just. All day. How many, how many. How many shots of tequila you pink per day? [00:10:05] Speaker A: Per day? Like seven to nine. [00:10:09] Speaker B: Damn. [00:10:09] Speaker A: Seven to nine. Never had a hangover. That's the other thing when you go. I've been overseas three times and I have never had a hangover over there. [00:10:19] Speaker B: Really? [00:10:21] Speaker A: I think there's a lot of people have been telling me when you go overseas, there's not a bunch of added chemicals or sugars or anything to their liquor. It's. [00:10:29] Speaker B: No, that's probably true. Yeah, that's probably true. [00:10:31] Speaker A: Yeah. Like it's. It was Don Julio 1942, just consumed that like it was water. [00:10:40] Speaker B: So yeah, this whole thing, this day two. [00:10:41] Speaker A: Now you have day two and I'm. [00:10:42] Speaker B: Probably party right by the beach. Everybody's down there. [00:10:45] Speaker A: Day two and probably on shot number four. 14 already. [00:10:47] Speaker B: Okay. And there still hasn't been a wedding yet. [00:10:49] Speaker A: Nope, not yet. Wedding. We still two days away from the wedding. [00:10:52] Speaker B: Okay. Okay. [00:10:54] Speaker A: So that's cool. Get done. And transportation provided if we had the Uber was like a four dollar Uber. So that's how close everything was, which was cool. We get back, we go and have a street. Street party. So you dress in street clubs clothes. And we go to the club. Same thing. Reserve area, Don Julio, Patron, drinks, dancing. And then after that, I don't know, we left that like probably at 1:00'. Clock. Then they had this street called Pink street, which is almost like I considered it like Bourbon street. In New Orleans. [00:11:32] Speaker B: In New Orleans. [00:11:32] Speaker A: Sorry. New Orleans. [00:11:33] Speaker B: Nollins. [00:11:34] Speaker A: Nolans. [00:11:34] Speaker B: Nolans. [00:11:35] Speaker A: So it's a street and the street is pink. And when it's not pink, then you're not on Pink street no more. On both ends. But. But it had everything. Clubs, food, freaking bars that had their doors open and like playing their music loud enough for you to hear and debating on which one you wanted to go to. Just a straight vibe. Like everybody from 60 to 20 was over there. [00:11:58] Speaker B: Okay. [00:11:59] Speaker A: They didn't go to bed till like 4am Damn. Yeah. And the crazy part is I'm on a seven hour day time difference from Idaho. So going to bed at 4:00am over. [00:12:11] Speaker B: There, oh, that'd have messed me up. It wouldn't have done that. [00:12:13] Speaker A: I was only 10 here. [00:12:15] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm 10pm I'm too old. That whole time thing would have just that have messed me up. But it took me at least three or four days just to get used to what was going on. [00:12:22] Speaker A: Well, I never did because I never went to bed early enough to try to break that cycle. [00:12:26] Speaker B: Oh, okay. So you just. [00:12:27] Speaker A: I was, I went to it. I did 4am so really on. On my own. [00:12:31] Speaker B: So you might have a little bit of jet lag about to catch up to you. [00:12:33] Speaker A: I probably. [00:12:35] Speaker B: That's probably why your eyes are still bloodshot and all that. [00:12:37] Speaker A: If I stop talking and my head go like this, I probably fell asleep. [00:12:41] Speaker B: Yep. [00:12:42] Speaker A: First. First guy to ever fall asleep on the podcast, probably. [00:12:45] Speaker B: That's all right though. Fall asleep right here. Don't do that behind the wheel or nothing. [00:12:48] Speaker A: No, no, no. I'm too focused always. So. So that's night two, night three or day Three. See, I'm already messed up. Day three. Day three, we get up and what did we do that day? Oh, yes. So wine tasting. Not your traditional wine tasting I was expecting. Show up, get a taste in, get a tour, call it good, normal. [00:13:16] Speaker B: Like how most normal wine tours go. Yeah, yeah. [00:13:19] Speaker A: Most of that's normal. Except for the fact we pull up, we walk into this building, and I don't see no wine bottles. Like, no. Like, no nothing. It looks like we're in the middle of somebody's living room. [00:13:35] Speaker B: Hmm. [00:13:35] Speaker A: That's because we were. This winery had on its premises its own Airbnb you can rent out. [00:13:48] Speaker B: Wow. [00:13:49] Speaker A: And it's two stories, so the first story, imagine a legit living room. [00:13:53] Speaker B: Okay. [00:13:53] Speaker A: Chairs, bar, still chairs, a couch, sectional. A table for dinner, nice water fountain, one bathroom. And then the guy's talking in Portuguese with a little bit of English, and he's like, you might noticed, where's the wine glasses? Where's the bottles? And he's like, well, this is our Airbnb. You can rent this out. And then we bring you wine when you want it for however many nights you're staying. And then on the lower level was the brooms, the bedrooms, the bathrooms. And then you took this hallway, and it took you to the in ground pool, which was glass, and oversaw the winery. [00:14:39] Speaker B: Damn, man. I don't even. I didn't. I mean, you already. On day three, and I'm. And I'm already sitting here listening to this. I don't even want to tell you what I was doing on day three, dog. [00:14:47] Speaker A: It was while you was gone. I didn't know a winery could have its own fricking Airbnb on my premises. [00:14:54] Speaker B: Why? [00:14:55] Speaker A: It's just not. You just don't hear about that. And when I say on the premises. [00:14:59] Speaker B: Yeah, I know what you mean. [00:15:00] Speaker A: I could have. I walked out of the front door and took two steps and could have pulled a grape. [00:15:07] Speaker B: Now, I've seen it before up in the Bay Area, Roundabout, Napa, Concord. You know those areas, like, they do have the Airbnb that are attached to the wineries. [00:15:16] Speaker A: Yeah, I've never seen. I've seen where it's like, yeah, this is where all the magic happens. And this is where you can buy. Not like, if you want to buy it, you got to call us and then we pack it up for you and then we bring it. [00:15:28] Speaker B: Bring it to. Yeah, no, there's some spots out there that. Yeah, it's like there's. There's a spot in Sonoma that. That is Just like that. There's a spot in Napa. Not Nampa, but Napa. [00:15:37] Speaker A: Yeah, Napa. [00:15:38] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:39] Speaker A: I was out there a few weeks. [00:15:40] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. You went back to my hometown. Driving through my. In the Bay Area. Didn't even hit. Sorry. [00:15:46] Speaker A: So then. So for dinner, they had chairs and we were in the middle of one of the. One of the fields. [00:15:55] Speaker B: Gotcha. [00:15:56] Speaker A: And had dinner there. Just elegant again. Producer Sean's gonna have a lot of these photos. He's putting them on there because I was late. I ain't had time to send them all to thc so he could also see them. [00:16:08] Speaker B: That is true. [00:16:09] Speaker A: So you'll just have to watch afterwards. I posted a lot of them on Social, though. So then we get done there. Then we go back to the palace, change, and then we have an all white dinner party. And there was hors d' oeuvres and drinks and more tequila shots, more whiskey sours. That's actually where I had a lot more whiskey sours. [00:16:29] Speaker B: Was at that place. At that spot. [00:16:30] Speaker A: Yeah, it was at that spot. So it was a rooftop hotel. [00:16:34] Speaker B: I like that. I like those. Oh, when you. When you on the top and you get to look. Oh, it's. [00:16:38] Speaker A: And it was. [00:16:38] Speaker B: You don't even want to leave. Like, you just sit there and like, okay, I'm in the zone right now. [00:16:41] Speaker A: And it was at night, so imagine how I told you they have the Golden Gate Bridge. [00:16:44] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:16:45] Speaker A: So the rooftop was facing that way. So you had the Golden Gate Bridge lit up. Then you had the whole other side of Portugal lit up. So you get to see just the outskirts of the houses and the towns. [00:16:58] Speaker B: Right, right, right. [00:16:59] Speaker A: And then you saw the strip and the boat still going. And like, we saw several boats porting in, like, bringing in stuff. It just. A picture wouldn't have done it. Cause it was dark, but it was just. The nightlife was lit up with seeing the town. It was beautiful. And then again, didn't go to bed till doggone three in the morning. No, I lied. We went to bed at 2, like 2:40. Because then the next day was the wedding. And I have never taken so many damn photos, not even from my own wedding. So many. Because, my friend. I love you, Dion. Love you, Ris. I gotta ask him when they make this video, he's gotta send it out because we took. So they took video of us, literally, me and one of my buddies in our draws putting our pants on. Like, they wanted to document everything. So from the time I was getting a haircut changing, like, literally, I am button in my pants. There is a video. [00:18:12] Speaker B: Is that like a new thing now? Because like when. When Isaiah, my son, when he got married, it was the same way. When we was getting ready in the thing, it was like the photographers was in there taking. Is this like a new. Because I don't remember that ever happening before. Like, I've never been to a wedding where, like, if I was a part of. We was taking all these pictures while we were getting dressed. [00:18:30] Speaker A: No. [00:18:30] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:18:30] Speaker A: It's a new thing. And I gotta say, we saw snapshots of the photos because. [00:18:35] Speaker B: Am I good? [00:18:36] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. My buddy Dion, he is not one to just do that many photos. And we're like two hours in, he's just like, hey, man, can I see some of these? Like, I just. I just need validation. Cause we got. We got two more hours of this. Yeah, and they gonna look good. They gonna look good. But the only caveat with a wedding, it was outside and we was wearing black and we were in three piece tuxes. [00:19:01] Speaker B: Ooh, what was. What was the temperature? [00:19:03] Speaker A: 96 degrees. It's the only, only thing I gotta say. [00:19:08] Speaker B: You got me sweating just talking about it. [00:19:10] Speaker A: That's the only thing I have to say to my boy. I love him, but I was like, dog, you can't. You can't have brothers. You can't have brothers in Portugal. [00:19:17] Speaker B: In black. 90. What? 90. What? 96. [00:19:22] Speaker A: Sorry. By the time the wedding started, it was 95. [00:19:26] Speaker B: Okay, how long after the wedding before you took the jacket and the tie off and you said, okay, I can't do this no more. [00:19:31] Speaker A: That's the thing. It wasn't until we got to the reception. Yeah, I took photos. I was taking photos or was a part of photos from like 9:40am until like 6:00pm Yep. Cause there was the ceremony, which the ceremony was at a different palace, but it was outside in the garden. You know those movies like Princess Diaries when she like opens the door and you just see that garden? [00:19:55] Speaker B: Yes. [00:19:56] Speaker A: Everything is leveled and clean cut. [00:19:58] Speaker B: Yes. [00:19:58] Speaker A: That's where the wedding was at. Beautiful, but not a lick of shade. Not even for the guests. [00:20:05] Speaker B: Is everybody out there fanning each fan and. Okay. [00:20:09] Speaker A: I was very appreciative of that because I would have been pissed if the guests would have been in the shade and we wasn't. [00:20:17] Speaker B: And you always in the sun. [00:20:18] Speaker A: I would have been like, dog, can. Can we get chairs over there? Like, I walk down the aisle, but I'mma split off and go sit with the guests. [00:20:24] Speaker B: See, now you know why I was so luxurious for the first couple of days. Because they knew they was. They knew how much. Oh, yeah. They knew it was going to be 96. They knew y' all was going to be out there in black tuxes. They knew. They said, you know what? We better spoil them all the way up today of that way. Yeah. [00:20:40] Speaker A: Cuz, you know what? Bet my boy going to be looking at us and be like, damn, T. Right? We. We knew. We knew they was going to be hurting. [00:20:49] Speaker B: That's exactly. That's why. Yeah. You had to. That way, even if you stayed there, you was cooking. You can't. You can't. Cuz look where you was at. You know what I mean? You got to be like, okay, I got to. I got to be here. [00:20:59] Speaker A: I got to be here. [00:21:00] Speaker B: Right? This has got to happen. It's got to do. Yeah. I love my boy. This is it. Yeah, I'm going to be. I will. [00:21:05] Speaker A: I will say up until that point, too. No hiccups as far as with the events. Everything was smooth. Had a great time. So, yeah. Up until that point, if one of us wanted to argue, he could have been like, but the first four days, though. [00:21:16] Speaker B: Yeah, I know. Exactly, exactly, exactly. And that's why I was. Oh, yeah. Come on in. Here we go. Oh, y' all staying here? Yeah. Did you know that? Oh, it wasn't even. It. Was Airbnb a part of this? You didn't even know that. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Right. [00:21:29] Speaker A: Stacking brownie points. Yep. [00:21:31] Speaker B: Right to the end, they said, all right, now stand right here in black. No shade. [00:21:35] Speaker A: No shade none. Yep. [00:21:37] Speaker B: For the next. What? How many hours? [00:21:41] Speaker A: It went pretty quick. Felt like two, but it was only. It was only like an hour from the time we had to line up. [00:21:47] Speaker B: To say I do and all I do. [00:21:49] Speaker A: Walk back, like, full hour, max. [00:21:52] Speaker B: Okay. [00:21:52] Speaker A: Felt long because it's hot. [00:21:54] Speaker B: Usually when I do weddings, it's like that. It's about an hour. [00:21:57] Speaker A: Yeah. And I'm saying hour, like, from the time. Like I said, everybody walks down. Bride walks down with her father. Transition. Who gives this, Man. They had their own vows. [00:22:07] Speaker B: Gotcha. [00:22:08] Speaker A: Exchanging the ring. Now pronounce you and then walk. I'd say it was a full, like, full hour. So, yeah, the ceremony itself went by quick. Like, once we all sat down, I think even the doggone preacher was like, yeah, we gonna. I ain't gonna extend no talking. [00:22:23] Speaker B: Nope, nope, nope. That's perfect. [00:22:25] Speaker A: Yeah. Kept it quick. Was like, we are gathered here today to put these two together. It was funny, too. Cause he said. [00:22:31] Speaker B: Was he sweating, too? [00:22:32] Speaker A: He was, but the thing that got me. This is how I knew he was gonna wrap it up quick. Cause he did it very fast, too. He was like. As we got here, take a moment to look around now. Like, I couldn't even turn my head the other way before he was already going. It was like, look around. [00:22:50] Speaker B: Take a look at the. Look around. Okay, here we go. [00:22:53] Speaker A: Yeah, we. I'm not about to pause and just. [00:22:55] Speaker B: I can just imagine everybody's heads in the audience as they started to look around. And the minute their head turn, he just starts talking. Yeah. Everybody just popping back to the front. Yeah. [00:23:04] Speaker A: Look around as we celebrate these two together now, Dion, Marissa, you have your. It's like, wait, I can't. [00:23:10] Speaker B: I didn't even turn back yet, dog. [00:23:12] Speaker A: Come on. But I respect it, though. But no, it was. It was beautiful. I'd never been to something like that. Never regretted it. Never take it back. Kudos to them. Congratulations to. [00:23:24] Speaker B: Yes. Congratulations to both y', all. [00:23:26] Speaker A: Dion and Marissa. Now, quick. So, yeah, and then reception. All that Airbnb get back. I don't know. I get back to my room by 2 and then packed. So I went to bed like 3:34 and then got up at 6:45 to go hit the airport. And then took all day to. All day yesterday to travel. And then here I am today. [00:24:00] Speaker B: Oh, welcome back. Welcome back to beloved Idaho. Yeah. [00:24:03] Speaker A: Yeah. I'm gonna say I missed. I missed Idaho. You didn't miss that. [00:24:07] Speaker B: I don't know if you could tell, but I've been getting a lot of sun out there since you've been. [00:24:10] Speaker A: Yeah. So I'm assuming somebody. Somebody been out on the boat twice. Okay, Twice. [00:24:17] Speaker B: But now I got. I got to redo the whole trailer because one of the bottom parts of the thing. Cause I got that trailer for 300 bucks. [00:24:22] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:24:23] Speaker B: Great trailer. Now I'm just redoing it right now, so. [00:24:25] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:24:26] Speaker B: It'll be back out again, but, yeah. [00:24:28] Speaker A: So, yeah, that's where I was at. I am on a hard detox. [00:24:34] Speaker B: Yeah. If it's not Pedialy, Pedialyte, Gatorade, if. [00:24:38] Speaker A: It'S not those two. Or water, I don't. I don't even. I don't even want orange juice. I don't want. [00:24:43] Speaker B: Not right now. Get your hydration. [00:24:45] Speaker A: We had mimosas and. Oh, yeah, that was my other drink. Sorry. I had five. Five combinations. Mimosas. Yeah. But, yeah, I'm on a detoxer. I'm in the 208 for a hot minute. I'm done traveling. I done Traveled a lot this summer. I loved it. But this last one killed me. Killed me. [00:25:04] Speaker B: Cause we like you being at home. [00:25:06] Speaker A: I know. And not. Not having me waiting Todd to the day at work. Not having me at 10am Y' all putting on snapper. [00:25:16] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:25:16] Speaker A: A picture of me on a boat drinking with wine. [00:25:19] Speaker B: Oh, man, we both was. You know what? I wish we. I wish we could have had cameras over our cubicles when we got the picture of you trying to tow somebody on a boat. [00:25:28] Speaker A: Because the minute she was like. [00:25:30] Speaker B: I looked at my phone and I think I even heard Todd's ding. Like almost the same time mind dinged. So it was like, ding, ding. And then I just looked and I was like, oh, look, it's Twitty. And I looked at it, I was like, son of a. And I just flipped off my phone right to the picture. [00:25:43] Speaker A: Look at this dude. [00:25:45] Speaker B: Cuz I had to turn around where all my tickets were in the files and everything. I just get this emails out while Twitty is just on them. To me, it looked like he was like on the way I pictured it. It was like you were like. You know when somebody says I was on the Riviera or I was in the Mediterranean, that's the way it looked like you were sitting there. [00:26:01] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:26:02] Speaker B: Your. Your shirt was like kind of unbuttoning. It was just blowing in the wind. It was going with the sailboat. [00:26:07] Speaker A: And you was like this just. [00:26:09] Speaker B: What's up, man? Nothing. Just sit behind the desk. Yeah. [00:26:14] Speaker A: Looking for a pop Tart. I forgot the time difference, dog. Leave me alone. But nah, man, it was awesome. It was hella fun. It was awesome seeing some old friends. And a lot of them are not subscribers. If you saw some subscribers popping up on those last three, four days, east coast people, a lot of them watch. A lot of them told me to tell you what's up. [00:26:36] Speaker B: Nice. Hello. [00:26:37] Speaker A: Yeah, One of them. I didn't realize this. I don't know why a lot of people think we memorize every episode. [00:26:45] Speaker B: No. [00:26:46] Speaker A: So Deion's uncle, he had subscribed that day. [00:26:51] Speaker B: Okay. [00:26:51] Speaker A: And I was like, yeah, like whenever you can, like go check out an episode. And he was like, I'm gonna go check some out. I'm thinking like when we get back. [00:26:57] Speaker B: Right, right, right home. He did it that night. [00:27:00] Speaker A: I see him two hours later. He just nudges me and it's like, hey, Del, THC 90K for me. I'm looking like, not. I'm like 90K. [00:27:09] Speaker B: Like, was he placing a bet? [00:27:10] Speaker A: And I'm like, what? I'm like, huh? And he looks at me like I'm stupid. And it's like your podcast, the retirement. And I'm like, oh. [00:27:20] Speaker B: God. [00:27:21] Speaker A: But I don't know why people think I know everything. [00:27:23] Speaker B: That's all he said. That's all he needs. And that's all you need is 90,000. [00:27:26] Speaker A: He said, Just like you. He said, I don't need nobody to pay for my house. I don't need my house. I got you, like, 90k for me to just do what I need to do. [00:27:35] Speaker B: Gotcha. [00:27:35] Speaker A: But, yeah, I just like how people think. I know we got every episode memorized. [00:27:39] Speaker B: Yeah. But you know what's funny? We kind of do, because the minute we get a part of it, I. [00:27:43] Speaker A: Need a little something. [00:27:44] Speaker B: Then it comes right back to me. [00:27:45] Speaker A: I need it real quick. Yeah. So for reference, for anybody, if you ever see us in public, just give us a little bit of context. Don't hit. Don't hit me with your answer. Right. [00:27:53] Speaker B: Right. [00:27:54] Speaker A: I ain't gonna remember, like, if he would have said, yo, I watched the retirement episode. Tell THC 90K. [00:27:59] Speaker B: That's different. [00:28:00] Speaker A: But to just walk up to me and that was. And be like, yo, tell THC 90K. I'm like, did you call him or something? You, like, making a bet? Like, I. Oh, what? [00:28:09] Speaker B: Did you just buy the podcast? And he didn't even tell me. [00:28:12] Speaker A: That's what I'm saying. Like, we got a new. [00:28:15] Speaker B: We got a new ownership. [00:28:16] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:28:16] Speaker B: It's no longer the Hawaiian comedian. [00:28:19] Speaker A: I was so confused. And then when he said. Said it, I was like, oh. He looked at me like, how do you not know? And it's like, I don't. I don't remember them all. [00:28:26] Speaker B: That was like, episode, Wow. [00:28:28] Speaker A: I think that was, like, teens. [00:28:29] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:30] Speaker A: So. But no. [00:28:31] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:31] Speaker A: Get ready to get some more. Some more comments. Some bad comments. I think a lot of people were listening and subscribing, so. [00:28:37] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:37] Speaker A: Thank you to the quicks. Thank you to the pin Ox. Appreciate y' all for having me out there as a groomsman. I know you wouldn't have had any other way. Shout out to all my boys from the 757 that I got to see again. Love all y'. [00:28:48] Speaker B: All. [00:28:48] Speaker A: I will be back out there. Don't ask me for no trips during the next month and a half, maybe two months. [00:28:53] Speaker B: He'll be ready in a month and a half. [00:28:55] Speaker A: I'm tired. [00:28:56] Speaker B: Nah, he'll be ready in a month. [00:28:58] Speaker A: This. This is all. You gonna be ready in a month? Nah, man, I can't I? We ain't old dog. This liver can't hang. I'm Twitty. That's THC Till next time, we out.
