[00:00:00] Speaker A: The Hawaiian Comedian presents. I've been doing comedy for over 20, 23 years and I've been on the road. I've been in different cities, I've been different things like that. [00:00:07] Speaker B: We're here to talk about everything, man. The topics you talk about with your friends, your family, questions you got for us. Twinning in the city. [00:00:14] Speaker A: Aloha. Rollin left a good job in the city. [00:00:24] Speaker B: The city. Now I feel like they gotta, they gotta put that on as the intro. [00:00:37] Speaker A: Don't do it, Sean. [00:00:38] Speaker B: They gotta do it. We got to. This is Twitty in The City, episode 13. Ooh, 13. Is he right? Sean, is he right? 13. Yeah, he is right. [00:00:49] Speaker A: Okay, one try, man. [00:00:52] Speaker B: We didn't even do none of the prior ones. [00:00:54] Speaker A: Telling you HLC is keeping up with this. Keeping up with this. [00:00:57] Speaker B: You gotta be the one. Episode 13. If this is episode 13 for you, this could be the first one. Like, subscribe please. Thank you. We comment, we respond back. We just don't subscribe. And how you like and be like, oh, thanks, you're a number. No, we don't do that. Also get in the DMs because we are going to answer a question from you. I'm Twitty, that's thc. How you doing this week? How you feeling? [00:01:20] Speaker A: Good week? I'm feeling good. [00:01:21] Speaker B: Good, good, good. I figured I we're not in football season anymore, but I had to rock the apparel. So you didn't think I was quitting on my team. I still got the apparel. [00:01:29] Speaker A: Good. [00:01:29] Speaker B: If you don't know what I'm talking about. Oh, gosh. Episode four or five or something. Either way, go back if you already heard it. You know, scared, not. That's a tease to go check out some of those other ones. [00:01:40] Speaker A: Told me he was done with his team. [00:01:41] Speaker B: It's a term I use very loosely when I'm annoyed with them. But when August, September gets here, oh, we back in action. Yep. They my a one day ones will never steer me wrong and probably will in a week. [00:01:53] Speaker A: Probably. [00:01:54] Speaker B: Probably. [00:01:54] Speaker A: I'm a Raider fan, so I feel, I feel I understand exactly what you're talking about. [00:01:59] Speaker B: A love hate that I just love coming back to. [00:02:01] Speaker A: Right. [00:02:02] Speaker B: So. But either way, we got Mr. Zach didn't put in here, by the way. Please, please, please. Only thing I'm going to say when you are messaging us a question, I really want to know where you're listening from. I'm not going to put your whole address. I just asked what city or what state. I just want to know where you're coming from. So please. That's why it's in there. It's not the stalky. We're not doing any of that. I just want to know who's listening, where the question is coming from. I say I, we and we. [00:02:29] Speaker A: And we are watching these comments come through, in fact, mostly on the YouTube channel. Like anybody that's responding or even drop a question, I will respond right back to you. [00:02:37] Speaker B: He will. [00:02:37] Speaker A: I'll, I'll see it and I'll respond right back to you. I'm. I won't just let your comments go by there. I know it's a lot of comments in there, but I will take time out of my day. You took time out of your day to comment. I'll take time to respond. [00:02:47] Speaker B: Remember what episode it was. You was going back and forth at least like 10 responses with somebody. Was it? [00:02:52] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, it was on the tools. It was on the tool one. Like, I was going back and forth and we got a pretty good synopsis of saying, you know, like some people do agree with when you do have to do the big work, the big stuff. [00:03:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:03] Speaker A: You're going to have to break out the bridge. You're going to have to, you're going to have to get the right tools for the right job 100%. That works for any job or any trade that you do in the business. In any business. [00:03:12] Speaker B: But yeah, needless to say, THC and myself, we are getting in the comments and we will continue to have the conversation. We're not doing that. Just like, thank you and we're going to keep it moving. No, you got a question inside of a question. We will answer it. Put it in the DMS though, so we can talk about it in person. Not just like. [00:03:28] Speaker A: And don't forget, tell us what city you from, please. Please tell us what city you from. [00:03:32] Speaker B: I'm just going to make it up for Zach. Zach is in Wisconsin. I'm just going to say that. [00:03:35] Speaker A: Okay. [00:03:36] Speaker B: He might be mad. Be like, I don't want to be. [00:03:37] Speaker A: We've had folks from all. We've had comments from all types of cities from Michigan, from everywhere. [00:03:41] Speaker B: Yeah, but Zach, I don't know where you're actually from. Maybe you respond later. But he wants to know THC and for me, what's a favorite place you have traveled and where'd you like to go in the future and why? Also, what. This is a loaded question. Also, what draws you to a destination when deciding where to travel? We got three different layers. So let's just start with favorite Place you've traveled. [00:04:08] Speaker A: Hmm. Favorite place. I've traveled, yeah. [00:04:11] Speaker B: And I didn't prep yourself or me. I read this and didn't even try to think about it. Cause I didn't want to cheat and be like, oh, I got my answers. And then we'll have crickets from you for a while. So I. If I had to say off the top of my head of where I've been, I think I have to go. I went to Malaga, Spain. Has that been two years now? Yeah, two years, Yep. [00:04:33] Speaker A: I remember when you left, that's why I was like. I was thinking in the back of my head, he gonna say Spain. [00:04:37] Speaker B: Yeah, you're gonna say. [00:04:38] Speaker A: Because I would have said Spain. [00:04:39] Speaker B: It was. If it wasn't Spain. It was gonna be. It was gonna be Hawaii. Because I didn't go to the big island. I went to the small local island. [00:04:45] Speaker A: Oahu. [00:04:46] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:04:47] Speaker A: That's where I'm from. [00:04:47] Speaker B: That's from. My family would be my second, but my first was Maliga. The culture, the vibe. Walked, took the bus and the train everywhere. We had an episode about this pricing for food. [00:05:04] Speaker A: Right. [00:05:04] Speaker B: And drinks. [00:05:05] Speaker A: Right. [00:05:06] Speaker B: Stupid. [00:05:07] Speaker A: Right. [00:05:08] Speaker B: Stupid. And the thing that I like too, is it is an insult to tip over there. It's an insult to tip. And it's an insult to rush people out of a restaurant. [00:05:19] Speaker A: Gotcha. Gotcha. [00:05:21] Speaker B: Like me. It was me, my wife, my brother, and my sister in law went to this nice restaurant, which, by the way, this is going to blow your mind. We had a progressive dinner. [00:05:30] Speaker A: Progressive. [00:05:31] Speaker B: So they bring you appetizer, salad. [00:05:33] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:34] Speaker B: A soup. [00:05:34] Speaker A: Okay. [00:05:35] Speaker B: Your entree sound like Olive Garden desserts and a wine that goes with each one. [00:05:40] Speaker A: Okay. Oh, so you got. [00:05:42] Speaker B: Oh, THC. It costs me and my wife together $80 for all of that. [00:05:52] Speaker A: You see? And you got the nerve to get mad at me about the whole chicken episode. That's what. [00:05:58] Speaker B: We ain't getting into that again. [00:05:59] Speaker A: Yeah, see, now we ain't getting it. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Because that's American culture. [00:06:03] Speaker A: He was mad at me for two weeks, y'all. Two weeks. [00:06:06] Speaker B: Don't bring it up, bro. [00:06:07] Speaker A: We talking now you're talking about 80 for two people. And he's naming off the wines and everything. [00:06:12] Speaker B: I'm like, it was great. But I went to leave a tip and the guy came back and said, sir, I can't accept that. [00:06:19] Speaker A: So for Zach, you telling him Spain? [00:06:21] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm going Malaga. Spain. [00:06:22] Speaker A: Okay. [00:06:22] Speaker B: It was. It was great. It was great. Not just because it was cheap, but just the culture was great. I love going Places where I get to learn stuff. And also, we were right on the beach. So I got fresh seafood. Like, literally, it was on the sword in the cold. And I was watching it cook my fish. It was so good, I didn't eat the head. They asked me if I wanted it decapitated or not. There were some people there that was eating the eyes and the. I couldn't do all that. [00:06:50] Speaker A: Why not? What's the matter with that? [00:06:51] Speaker B: I just. It's been a minute. [00:06:53] Speaker A: You know, sometimes if. [00:06:53] Speaker B: You bet it was good. [00:06:55] Speaker A: If you cook the gills right and stuff like that. Like, it tastes like potato chips. [00:06:58] Speaker B: I didn't want to push it. I was on vacation. I didn't want to try something, and then my stomach be all told because it was on the first night. [00:07:03] Speaker A: Or you could have tried something and you would have felt great and fantastic because you would have been adding stuff to your body that your body was probably missing you. [00:07:09] Speaker B: Right? I played the fear side of it. [00:07:11] Speaker A: See, that's. My auntie taught me different. She was like, you may not like the way it smells, but it might be something that your body needs you. Right. [00:07:16] Speaker B: I might have missed out. So Malaga, Spain, for me. Have you thought of yours? [00:07:21] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:07:22] Speaker B: Oh, I mean, I was just making sure. [00:07:23] Speaker A: Oh, no, no. I've got mine. [00:07:26] Speaker B: All right. [00:07:26] Speaker A: That's been in the back of my head for a minute. [00:07:28] Speaker B: And so is yours. [00:07:29] Speaker A: Well, I get. Like. Some people ask me because I'm Hawaiian, right? They're like, hey, don't. You don't want to go back home to Hawaii? I love going back home. I love going back home. It's beautiful. It's calm, it's peaceful. It's nice. I got my family there. Like, it's. It's nice to be Hawaiian. It's nice to know that if. You know, that's. That's from my. But that's the problem. The problem is when I go back home to Hawaii, I don't get to just relax. [00:07:52] Speaker B: Oh, no. You working? [00:07:53] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, no, I got yours as soon as I land. You know, I would get hugged by all my aunties. They'd be like, oh, so good to see you. Oh, so good to see you. Go help your uncle outside in the yard first. Then we're gonna eat. So it's like, okay, I'm glad I'm in Hawaii. I gotta go grab this rake real quick. [00:08:07] Speaker B: Yeah, no, vacation, vacation, vacation. Places that you got family is not a vacation. [00:08:12] Speaker A: No. If I had to pick, though, a place that I've been to that I. That I That I love going to. It'd be Japan. Oh, I've heard Japan is beautiful. Japan is beautiful. And I've been through. I've been mainland Osaka to. All the way out towards Okinawa. [00:08:25] Speaker B: Okay. [00:08:26] Speaker A: Station on Okinawa, I would say because. [00:08:28] Speaker B: Of being stationed there, it was beautiful. [00:08:30] Speaker A: And if. If you was to ask my kid Isaiah, if you was asking Isaiah, when he went overseas, like, that's one of his favorite places was Japan. Japan was beautiful. Beautiful in Japan. [00:08:39] Speaker B: So how long were you stationed there? [00:08:41] Speaker A: I was overseas for about a year and a half. [00:08:42] Speaker B: See, that's. That's the other aspect I feel like, with being in the military is going somewhere. You're not just there for like a week. So you got to try to cram everything. You can actually be there. And if you don't get to something that day, it's like, well, I'm here for a year. Like, I can. I can just. I can just figure out stuff that's close to base and I can do some exploring one day, or that's what I'm assuming. I wasn't in the military. I was based on military base. [00:09:09] Speaker A: They used. They used to break it down to everybody that was go because we knew we were going to be there for at least a year. Everybody knew they was going to be there for at least a year. When we got there, they said this. It was broke down from 30, 30, 30 and 10%. This is what's going to happen to everybody. 30% of y'all are going to be straight athletic. You're gonna run, you're gonna go to the gym every day. You're gonna become this PT Holic is what they used to call it. You're gonna physically train every single day. That's just what. That's. That's 30% of the people that get there. The other 30, there's another 30 of people are going to be religious. And I've seen it. I've watched it. I've watched 30 of the people turn, you know, to where they weren't religious before became religious. And then for that year that they were there, they became very religious. Just like that person that started PTN, they became that. The other 30, I hate to say it, but most of them. 30 of them become alcoholics. It does. It happens. I've seen it. There's 10% that would actually go out and see where they were. Like, they would go out and they would see the beaches and they would see the different islands, and they would learn the history of where they were at. They would actually go out and enjoy the country in which they were in. I was part of that 10%. I had a Marine. His name was Yam Swan. His first name was Joey. Him and I, we were both from the Bay Area. So when we got out to. To Japan, we kind of stuck around each other. And that's what we did is we went out and we found different caves that we could camp in that were next to the ocean, different beaches, different things. We started learning about different history of World War II and how that got brought over there. [00:10:41] Speaker B: Yeah, that's history for sure. [00:10:42] Speaker A: But that's what I got into when I was over in Okinawa. And I. I would go back there 100%. I would go back. That was my favorite place to visit. [00:10:50] Speaker B: All right, so Japan. Malik of Spain, second part of a three part question. I'm not mad about it, Zach. I do like the details. I also like that he put periods after each one. [00:11:01] Speaker A: He was letting us know. [00:11:01] Speaker B: Yeah, like, here's layers. Just take one at a time. I respect that. [00:11:05] Speaker A: Appreciate you, Zach. [00:11:05] Speaker B: Layer number two, Where'd you love to go in the future and why? That's deep. Not just why you want to go. It's like what would draw you there, I guess is kind of the. The phrasing of it. [00:11:19] Speaker A: Where would I want to go? [00:11:20] Speaker B: Where would you want to go and why? [00:11:23] Speaker A: There's a couple places I'd want to go. Top of the list. Let me go top of the list down. [00:11:28] Speaker B: Sure. [00:11:29] Speaker A: Top of the list down. The Coliseum in Rome. [00:11:31] Speaker B: Same. I probably say that's my number. Probably go three. That's my three. [00:11:36] Speaker A: That's my number one. [00:11:37] Speaker B: I'm assuming you're doing three. [00:11:40] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:11:40] Speaker B: Okay. Yeah. [00:11:41] Speaker A: So that's my number one. [00:11:41] Speaker B: That's my three. [00:11:43] Speaker A: My number two, Wrigley Field in Chicago. I would love to go and visit and watch a game. I'm. I'm a. I love baseball. That's an iconic stadium, and that's a stadium that's been around longer than I can even remember, and it's still here. So there's not a lot of stadiums that are left. Oh, that's the baseball. The original with the vine, brick wall, everything. [00:12:02] Speaker B: I've never been. I've seen a lot of pictures. [00:12:04] Speaker A: They've changed so many different. The stadiums and teams have moved to so many different places at the originality, like, you know, after the Giants left Candlestick park in San Francisco, like, I. I was able to watch a Giants game there. I was able to watch the Niners Raider game there once. But, like, I'm. I'M into the stadiums. That's why the Coliseum is number one. Number two would be. If you notice, they. They pretty much stadiums. All. Both of them are stadiums. [00:12:27] Speaker B: So where are you going? Number one? No, you went number one. [00:12:30] Speaker A: Number one is the Coliseum. Number two would be Wrigley Field. [00:12:33] Speaker B: Number three. You've been to the Raiders old stadium, so they're not talking about that. You've been to the new one. Oh, what are you gonna do? What's. What stadium are you now going? [00:12:44] Speaker A: None. [00:12:46] Speaker B: So what's three? [00:12:47] Speaker A: Stonehenge. I know. I throw a curveball at that. [00:12:52] Speaker B: Yeah. Notice how they all stadiums. [00:12:55] Speaker A: Yes. Yeah. They all win stadiums at. At first. But this is kind of. This is kind of a stadium. If you think about it, it's kind of a stadium. It was built thousands and thousands of years ago. It was put in a certain form and a certain thing. And it was built for certain reasons. Just like the Coliseums, just like the stadiums. Yeah. [00:13:11] Speaker B: It's got an amp. Outdoor amphitheater. [00:13:13] Speaker A: I. I am just amazed at certain things that have been here for thousands of years. I'm a big history nut. So these certain things. And there's reasons to these, certain. To these places that I'm saying there are 100% reasons why I do that, why I pick those areas. And that's for the. The history for the piece that's. I. I find. [00:13:33] Speaker B: I respect. I. I'm not judging. That was just. That was a curveball. [00:13:38] Speaker A: It was a curveball. It was. [00:13:39] Speaker B: And you're. It is a stadium for sure. It's just not your. Again, it might. [00:13:44] Speaker A: It might have been a stadium back then for whoever built it. We don't know. [00:13:47] Speaker B: Right. [00:13:47] Speaker A: We still don't know what that was built for. [00:13:49] Speaker B: Like, like when you name the Coliseum. [00:13:51] Speaker A: At least the Coliseum looks like the Coliseum has so much history in it. [00:13:55] Speaker B: Oh, that bad. [00:13:56] Speaker A: So much, much history. What about you? Your top three? [00:13:59] Speaker B: My top three. You probably know the number one. Number one for me is geese in Germany. That's where I was born. But I have no history. I have no. No remembrance of it. I want to go back to. I was there until I was one and a half. So I have no idea. Like, literally the only thing I can think of is, like, the house we were in. It had that brown shaggy carpet. And that's about it. But yeah, I want to go back. I want to know, like, I want to be able to possibly go to the base. Just see where it was at in comparison to the actual town. [00:14:29] Speaker A: And did you live off base or did you live on base. [00:14:32] Speaker B: On base. [00:14:33] Speaker A: I was going to say you couldn't go back and visit to see if your old house was there? [00:14:37] Speaker B: Probably not. I mean, I had to, man. [00:14:40] Speaker A: That's what we got to get together. That's what Twitter got to go in the city. [00:14:43] Speaker B: Oh, for sure. [00:14:44] Speaker A: We got it. We got to get you back home. [00:14:46] Speaker B: Pulling every. I'm pulling everybody. [00:14:47] Speaker A: Got to get you back home. We got to. We got to get permission for you to get on base so we can actually find the old house. Yeah, that'd be great. [00:14:53] Speaker B: I'm going to have to pull some string. [00:14:55] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:14:55] Speaker B: I do got my birth certificate still. So my German one. [00:14:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:15:00] Speaker B: So that's number one. Number three, Coliseum, and then number two is Greece specifically. What is that freaking small little town? [00:15:12] Speaker A: What is it famous for? I can't. [00:15:13] Speaker B: Basically, it has. It has the. The village and the town and the houses are in the actual landscape of the edge of the. The world. Like, there's the beach and then there's. The houses in the village are in the actual wall. [00:15:30] Speaker A: Are you talking about Venice? [00:15:32] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:32] Speaker A: Okay. [00:15:33] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:15:33] Speaker A: On the water? [00:15:34] Speaker B: Yes. [00:15:34] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:35] Speaker B: I just really. From a landscaping view to just see. How in the f. Did they build that within the earth, man. [00:15:43] Speaker A: I'm still trying to find out. If they don't have a boat, do they got to swim to the store? [00:15:47] Speaker B: Right. That's what I want to know. Because everything is. Because it doesn't look like there is a room to just walk. [00:15:52] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:15:53] Speaker B: That's what I want to know. Like, how do you. How do you get from one place to the next? Or where is your store? [00:15:59] Speaker A: You want to go to Venice, huh? [00:16:00] Speaker B: Yeah. Just fascinates me. [00:16:05] Speaker A: Would you ever swim in that water? [00:16:08] Speaker B: If I was told it was safe to. I wouldn't just. I wouldn't just get out there and be like, this looks safe. I want some verification. [00:16:18] Speaker A: Venice. Venice. I think Venice. I've never been to Venice. I was like, no, I've heard good things about it. I kind of stayed on the. On the other side of the world. But yeah, Venice. I'd like to go to Venice. [00:16:30] Speaker B: Yeah, Venice is. So those are my three. So that's where's. And kind of the wise. Not kind of. I said, why? [00:16:36] Speaker A: And he had a three part to this question. [00:16:37] Speaker B: Yep. Zach, last one. What draws you to a destination when deciding where to travel? So if you're gonna go. I guess we've kind of already answered it. So for you, it's more of a history. Is what draws you to go somewhere. [00:16:54] Speaker A: History and Peace and peace. Peace is number one. Peace is number one. I will never, ever, ever, ever pick a place that was crowded. I don't like picking places that's got a lot of people there. I don't like. I like peace. And, like, what I mean by that is, like, with the history. The history in places will actually bring peace because more people have questions going through their heads that they're not spitting out of their mouth in the middle of a room. Once they walk into a room where they don't know, like, oh, my God, how old is this room? How old is these things? Here people are usually quiet, and I find peace and all that. When you walk around Stonehenge, nobody knows why these things are built. Nobody knows. So you're not asking you. You look at me and you think, I'm a regular person. So you. You like. I don't think he gonna understand where all these places came from. [00:17:36] Speaker B: Right. [00:17:36] Speaker A: He doesn't look like a history or an archaeologist or anything like that to me. So then I don't get questions. [00:17:41] Speaker B: See, I'm. [00:17:42] Speaker A: I'm a peace guy. [00:17:43] Speaker B: See, I'm the opposite with. I'm the same, but with opposite mindset. So I like. I like peace, but in a sense, to get the knowledge from the true people there. [00:17:57] Speaker A: What do you mean? [00:17:58] Speaker B: So, perfect example. When I went back to your homeland, I was on an island that literally most tourists don't go to. Walking along the beach, lovely old woman just sitting, her usual. I said, hi. She said, hi. You know, where you're from? My wife thought I got kidnapped. I sat there for an hour and a half and just heard her share the history of that island. [00:18:24] Speaker A: That's great, ain't? [00:18:25] Speaker B: Yeah, so that's my type. Like, I like to be somewhere where somebody will just open up just by saying hi. And she knowing I'm not from there, like, oh, what brought you here? And I was like, oh, I have a co worker that recommended. [00:18:36] Speaker A: Oh, you was probably sitting with one of my aunties. [00:18:39] Speaker B: I don't think so, because I said the last name and she just was like, oh, yeah, I know, Peabody's. But she didn't say, like, she knew Sean or she might have if she just had dementia, but. But I like that type of piece. I like hearing from the people and like, hey, so. Because she asked, she said, so, what's your plan today? And I was like, oh, we're gonna go into town and we're gonna check this place out. Don't go there. Nope. [00:18:59] Speaker A: Yeah, we won't let you. [00:19:00] Speaker B: No, don't do that. [00:19:01] Speaker A: And that's because you need to go. [00:19:02] Speaker B: Down this road, go look at this building. It's gonna look such and so. And get their number, get their number this, exchange this for that. [00:19:10] Speaker A: And you better not walk in with shoes. You better have slippers. Because they don't respect nobody with shoes on. They're not gonna let you come in and sit down. [00:19:16] Speaker B: But that's what I look for when I travel is I want, I want the norm of that place. I don't want to go to the obvious landscape building where the tour guy has memorized the whole history, which is cool, but I want the history from the actual person's mouth that has lived there. Cause I was like, how long you been here? She's like, oh, I was born here in 70 something and I moved to the big island and I didn't like it. Cause and I was like, you can say it. We came over there and started monetizing it. She was like, exactly. So when I came back here and I've been here since 2005, I'm like, oh, so yeah, you my people, right? [00:19:51] Speaker A: Right. [00:19:51] Speaker B: So yeah. She was like, this is where you go for this. And she was like, what's your type of food? I'm like, I'm a big seafood person. She's like, oh, then you got to go here. And my brother in law looked this up. Oh, that's a good place. That's a good place. Or we were looking at this one. Oh no, don't go to that place. They're. They're terrible. Such and so used to own it. Now this person owns it. [00:20:08] Speaker A: He thinks, oh, they got the dirt on everybody. [00:20:10] Speaker B: Yes. [00:20:11] Speaker A: Who picked it up, who left it, who. And then when this they wouldn't pick this one up. All the rice. A little kind of crazy, but no. [00:20:17] Speaker B: Yeah, I, that's what I look for in travel. I want that small piece so I can without asking, not being like, so where should I go eat? Where should I go? It's just, nope, I'm gonna just have conversation. And if you ask me what I'm doing, I'll tell you. Because she did that classic, you know those. That old person or that person that starts, oh yeah, oh yeah. She was just sitting and then before I knew it, she slid over to look at my phone and then was moving the Google maps. Like, nope, you need to go over here and then you need to go over here. [00:20:48] Speaker A: You know what, that's better. Because that back in the day they used to just draw it in the sand, right There, they would just draw the map right as you sat in the sand. Okay. And then you come over this side over here, and you can go over there. But I don't like this spam. The spam is not all the way cooked. I like them burnt. [00:21:03] Speaker B: Yup. [00:21:03] Speaker A: Oh, and then you go up, but they withdraw it. And now they can just grab your phone and show you on Google. They blow it up, too, with their fingers. Blink, blink. [00:21:10] Speaker B: That's how I knew I was in it. Because, you know when you don't want somebody to bother, you, just say, oh, yeah, go to there. Over there. No. She slid over and was like, you're here. You're gonna go down here. You're gonna go over here. [00:21:19] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:21:19] Speaker B: And then zooming in, she's like, it looks pink, but it's not pink anymore. They changed the color of her. It's blue, but it's the same place. Don't panic. Go in. It might say this, like, gave me the hours and everything. That's, you know. [00:21:31] Speaker A: You know, Hawaii has the opposite of. I know this is kind of off topic, but you know how Hawaii. Hawaii has the opposite of fry sauce. [00:21:38] Speaker B: What's so hot? Sauce. [00:21:42] Speaker A: Mayonnaise and mustard. [00:21:44] Speaker B: Oh, how you make it. [00:21:45] Speaker A: Yeah. Because, like, over here, it's kind of like the mayonnaise mustard combo. Mayonnaise and ketchup. Mayonnaise and ketchup is for the mayonnaise and mustard. Mayonnaise and mustard. And they put it on your French fries. [00:21:55] Speaker B: Hmm. [00:21:55] Speaker A: I need you to go home and try that mayonnaise and mustard. [00:21:58] Speaker B: I will. [00:21:59] Speaker A: Mayonnaise and barbecue sauce. [00:22:01] Speaker B: I've done mayonnaise and barbecue. [00:22:02] Speaker A: So good. [00:22:03] Speaker B: That's good. Especially if you get a nice spicy barbecue sauce. [00:22:06] Speaker A: Especially if you got wings. Chicken wings on the dip in. [00:22:09] Speaker B: Are you a. We're kind of getting a little off subject with traveling, but I do got a question about travel I wanted to ask you. [00:22:15] Speaker A: Okay. [00:22:15] Speaker B: Are you a dry rub or a sauce? [00:22:19] Speaker A: Yes. [00:22:21] Speaker B: So both. [00:22:22] Speaker A: Depends on what I'm cooking. [00:22:23] Speaker B: Yes, yes. When it comes to a true wing, dry rub or sauce, there's a difference between that and a drumstick. Because the drumstick I want. [00:22:36] Speaker A: It depends if I'm gonna put them in the oil, bake them. If I say bacon. If I'm gonna bake them, I'm. I'm gonna do the dry rubber. [00:22:45] Speaker B: Okay. [00:22:46] Speaker A: If I do the. If I do the dry rub, that's when I'm going to bake them. If I do the sauce, I'm going to fry them and then put the sauce on. [00:22:52] Speaker B: Gotcha. Okay. I respect it. All right. My last. This might take long, but I don't care when you travel, because I had this conversation with my wife because she. She was. I won't say she gets annoyed, but she knows that when I get somewhere. When you travel, are you living out of your suitcase or are you. Yeah. Ooh, so you are like me. Maybe. What do you mean, so you're. [00:23:20] Speaker A: How long am I staying? [00:23:21] Speaker B: That's. That's where I was about to get. [00:23:23] Speaker A: Okay, okay, okay. [00:23:25] Speaker B: So you sound like me. So for me, if I am there two nights. So Friday night, Saturday night, I leave Monday, you leave Monday, or you leave Sunday. I leave Sunday. My bad. [00:23:37] Speaker A: Sunday morning. [00:23:37] Speaker B: Leave Sunday morning. Even if it's gotta check out at 11. Yeah. Suitcase. [00:23:42] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:23:43] Speaker B: After that, I'm unpacking. Now, my necessities as far as phone, keys, wallet, they stay together. In the event I need to bounce, I got what I need. [00:23:57] Speaker A: Okay. I have a. I have a question, like, as a comedian and I've traveled and been in many different places, Right. [00:24:03] Speaker B: Which is why I wanted to ask you that. When I saw this, I thought. I feel like. I thought with being a comedian and also being in the military, definitely you would live out of your suitcase no. [00:24:15] Speaker A: Matter how long you military would teach you how to live out of sandwich bag. Like, they. [00:24:19] Speaker B: We. [00:24:20] Speaker A: We can survive out of this. All we need is in this little bag here. So being a comedian, I got a whole suitcase. I feel like I'm still living at my house through my suitcase. But if it's two days, I'm living on my suitcase. [00:24:32] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:24:33] Speaker A: If it's three days, I'm probably still living on my suitcase. And then if it's longer than that. [00:24:39] Speaker B: So sorry, let's. Let's go back. So you get there Friday, okay. You're staying Saturday. Sunday you are leaving. You check out Monday at 11. [00:24:48] Speaker A: I'm probably going to use a drawer. One drawer. I'm probably going to use one drawer in that whole room. I'm not lying. There's going to be one drawer that's got. [00:24:57] Speaker B: I'm laughing because that is exactly, exactly me. I'm not. [00:24:59] Speaker A: You know what it is and you know what it's going to be for? [00:25:03] Speaker B: Let me. Let me see, let me see. Let me see. Like underwear and socks. [00:25:07] Speaker A: It's going to be for the clean clothes so I can put the dirty clothes from the last couple of days in the bag. [00:25:12] Speaker B: Oh, you. Oh, that's. That's how I do it. [00:25:14] Speaker A: But that's. But that's the only time I can use it. I have a separate spot in my. In my suitcase that stays empty and that empty goes from my dirty clothes so that it never touches my clean clothes at. But if I, if I'm gonna stay. [00:25:25] Speaker B: There for three days, not assuming. I feel like that's how most people should be. When you traveling, I'm the same way. I'm the same way. [00:25:33] Speaker A: I have traveled with some folks and some comedians, and I'm just like, I don't even know how. Like, I know some cats, we be there for one night. One night. And we got to share the room together. Okay, that's another thing too, is. That's another reason why I don't take everything out. Because I don't want my stuff getting mixed in with your stuff. And sometimes our stuff does get mixed in. And you walking away with my phone charger and I'm walking away with dude with like three of your underw and I'm like, I don't even fit your underwear. So, like, it's. It's crazy because like, I, I would if I, if I'm sharing with somebody else. I, I put it. But I've known cats come in. We'd be there for one night. One night. I'm. I, I didn't even know how it was possible to get all his clothes all over the, like, on the couch, on the sofa. Got a shirt over here. Got thing he's half naked sitting there and I'm, I'm like. Even when I went to sleep, I was, I was still like, you know, T shirts, shorts, like socks. I was still pretty much. If I ran, if I had, I was good. [00:26:29] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, you gotta. [00:26:30] Speaker A: But I, I mean, I've shared a room with people that just like, man, I don't want to take the blanket off. Like, I don't want you to take the blanket off either. Like, I don't. I want the blanket to stay on. That's. [00:26:39] Speaker B: No, I gotta. I'm sharing with another guy and I. And I have some. And I got friends that I will ride or die with. [00:26:47] Speaker A: Do you. [00:26:47] Speaker B: We have the common code. You. You are not, you are not sleeping butt ass Nate, right? [00:26:51] Speaker A: You ain't never had somebody that's only been in the whole. Like. Like, you ever, like, drop off all your gear, been like with your team, on the team or whatever, you get to the room and stuff. You drop your stuff off in the room, then you go and see your friend in the other room, which is comedians. We do that all the time because sometimes we don't share the same rooms. We get our own room. [00:27:06] Speaker B: Yeah, Yeah. [00:27:07] Speaker A: I would go and drop my stuff off when I went back to his room. I don't know if this ever happened to you. When he opened the door, I swear to God, I thought he'd been living there for a week. [00:27:14] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. It's a straight bomb in there. [00:27:16] Speaker A: Like, it's just. And it's like, dude, like, we just got here the same time. [00:27:20] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:27:20] Speaker A: And he's standing there. He ain't got no shirt on. He got a beer in his head. I'm looking around, and I'm like, did you just unload? Just open your bag and just throw everywhere? [00:27:28] Speaker B: Yeah, that's everything. [00:27:30] Speaker A: Towels already on the ground. [00:27:31] Speaker B: I'm like, how is this the bomb guy? [00:27:33] Speaker A: How is the towel. How is the towel on the ground? We ain't even been here long enough. You to take a shower. [00:27:38] Speaker B: Well, you always. You got those guys. It's. Oh, man. Well, you know, I was holding on the bus, so I had to. I had to go use the bathroom. And then, you know, I sweat. I get nervous on buses, so I hop in the shower real quick. They. They've lived the whole day. [00:27:50] Speaker A: I know, but I want to ask them, how did you do that in 17 minutes? In seven minutes. Not 17. Seven. [00:27:55] Speaker B: I. I've seen those guys, bro. [00:27:57] Speaker A: That's. That. That's the one I don't get. When you walk back in my room, it just. My bed. My. My bed has my bag sitting on the. On the bed. That's as far as I got. [00:28:05] Speaker B: It might have just a little crinkle spot on the edge because I just took my shoes off. [00:28:10] Speaker A: Yeah, it might. Or there might have been one little thing open because I opened it to pull something out. [00:28:15] Speaker B: Yup, that's it. Yeah. Now there's. There's people out there. That is crazy. [00:28:19] Speaker A: I can't do that. [00:28:20] Speaker B: But, yeah, no, I'm the same way. Two. Two days suitcase, three days. I'm using a drawer. After that, I'm unpacking, but I'm also unpacking to pack as I go. So then on that last night, I'm just finalizing most of the time, too. [00:28:36] Speaker A: If I go past a certain amount of time, I'm. I'm not unpacking into there because I have a lot of dirty clothes now. I'm going to the laundromat. Oh, I got to. I can't go. I'm. I'm not. Them dudes. Like, I've. I've known cats to pull out the same and wear it the next day. And I know we traveling, so they ain't got to be all. You know what I'm saying? Like, yeah, I know I wore this shirt yesterday when we were driving from this state to this state, but we driving from this state to sitting. This shirt's still good. It's like, who is it good for? [00:29:03] Speaker B: No. [00:29:03] Speaker A: No. [00:29:03] Speaker B: Okay. [00:29:03] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:04] Speaker B: If I'm doing that type of traveling, yes, I would. I would do laundry as well. [00:29:07] Speaker A: I do. As soon as. As soon as I get low. There's a laundromat in every city. Oh, yeah, every city. And you don't need nothing. Like, I get it. I get it. It might cost a little more because you got to buy the laundry. So up there, if that's what you had to do. But you can also stop traveling. If you're traveling, you can stop at Walmart and grab what you need. [00:29:24] Speaker B: Yeah, you can grab. They got the travel size one. Oh, yeah. The duration you're there. [00:29:27] Speaker A: Yep. [00:29:28] Speaker B: If you got somebody you trust, they can also do a load. And you just split the difference of the detergent. [00:29:32] Speaker A: Yep. [00:29:33] Speaker B: I don't ever wash my goals with somebody else. [00:29:35] Speaker A: No, you can't do that. [00:29:36] Speaker B: I can't do that. [00:29:36] Speaker A: You can't do that. [00:29:37] Speaker B: Except for my wife. That's because we're married. [00:29:39] Speaker A: But you can't. When I can't put it new. [00:29:40] Speaker B: Nope. I'm sorry. Nope. Can't do that. That's a no. [00:29:44] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:29:45] Speaker B: I can't have my draws touching your draws. [00:29:47] Speaker A: You imagine that we had one episode. I look at you, I'm like, yo, did you throw that in there? Because my drawers is already in there. We touching Twitty. [00:29:57] Speaker B: Nope. You know, it ain't gonna happen because I'm gonna look at you. I'm gonna ask you. I do this with my wife at home because we do laundry separate. Just because we fold different and we don't like that. I will look at her and be like, you about to start laundry? And she's like, I'll. I'm thinking about it. I'll be like, okay, I'm not doing laundry today. And she's like, you could do it, Adam. And, nope, that's your day. Because when I do laundry, I need my space because I'm. I'm doing a routine. I'm doing workout clothes, regulars. Then I hit them with the delicates after. Then delicates, I hit the whites, and it's a cycle because I'm using that first dryer sheet from the everyday clothes. Right. Delicate. Because the delicate Is only going in the dryer for at least only five minutes, just to get warm enough so I can hang it up so it doesn't have wrinkles. [00:30:43] Speaker A: What do you think, Sean? Sean, what about you? You keep it in your. You use the drawers? Oh, yeah. Not really. No. Does it depend on how many days? Yeah, it really does depend. [00:30:56] Speaker B: But like, usually I just like to. [00:30:57] Speaker A: Live out my suitcase. Okay. See, that way, if you had to, you could just grab the suitcase. [00:31:02] Speaker B: I've heard that before. People are like, I just, I want to be able to have. [00:31:05] Speaker A: Yo, that's happened to us one time where there was a. There was a hotel room on the end of the building. It was at a Motel 6 on the end of the building that caught fire. And they had everybody run out. And I swear to God, all I had to do is grab my bag and run outside. And the dude that was with me kept coming out. He was like, oh, oh, left my. I left my phone charger up there. Oh, my wallet sitting up there. Oh, keys up there. So I'm like, I even got keys. I drove here, right? [00:31:29] Speaker B: No, I, I think about that. But I'm also pre. Like I said, for me, it's worst case scenario. I have what I have on and I always got slides to put on and like phone, keys, wallet. You know, when I travel, my fanny pack. [00:31:45] Speaker A: Yep, yep, yep. [00:31:46] Speaker B: So if worse come to worst, I grab that and put my slides. I ain't saying I'm rich, but I can go to TJ Maxx or I can go to Target. [00:31:53] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:31:54] Speaker B: And go get me some stuff. [00:31:55] Speaker A: Oh, easily. [00:31:55] Speaker B: So easily. That's why I'm always like, I'll live out of that suitcase. Because I'm also not taking the stuff that I just bought. So it's not like I'm. I'm taking my 80. [00:32:04] Speaker A: And it's funny you say you, you can just go to the store like that. Like. Cause like, I'm the same way. Like, if I had to, I go to Ross. I got, I got big feet. Like, if I need to go to Ross, I know they got my size. They always got four teams at Ross. Like, always. Ain't never been to Ross. They didn't have 14s on anything. Oh, anything. If you, if you can't. If you wear a size 14ft, go to Ross. Yeah, go to Ross. They got it. I guarantee you they got it. [00:32:26] Speaker B: Don't see it. Hit up HC so he can hit. [00:32:28] Speaker A: Oh, I got some 14s for you. [00:32:30] Speaker B: But yeah, that's my mindset is, yes, I'm living out of my suit. I'm living. Not out of my suitcase, but if I had to flee, I'm good. Yeah, I'm not. Now my wallet, keys. Yeah, I can't have that. Just scattered everywhere. [00:32:41] Speaker A: No, that's gotta be in one spot. Yep, it's gotta be in one spot. [00:32:44] Speaker B: And it's on that dresser right by the. Literally grab it. Go. Twitty. You outside in your shorts and the tank top. That's fine. [00:32:52] Speaker A: I was standing outside that hotel. That hotel room was on fire. This man looking at me in his tank top and two slippers, and I'm just looking at him, like, for real, and he's like, damn. Shit. You got a phone charger? [00:33:01] Speaker B: No, I got a. [00:33:01] Speaker A: Why you leaving? What is it? I thought we was here. Like, this is it. Like, we. We only here for six hours after the show. We leaving, like. Yeah, he was, like, completely naked, running out while everything is out. [00:33:13] Speaker B: I'm just like, dude, I thought we was. We were here for six hours. [00:33:18] Speaker A: Yes, Six hours. This whole. This man got everything out of his bag. Everything everywhere. You can't be in a hotel room for six hours and ask your friend. And you see what I did with my phone charger? Nah. What the hell? He said, how did you get that? Lost. Damn. [00:33:37] Speaker B: Oh. Until next time. [00:33:41] Speaker A: I love it when we end a show like this. [00:33:45] Speaker B: Next episode, we'll have another question. I'm Tweety. That's thc, man. [00:33:51] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:33:52] Speaker B: Hit the, like. Hit the subscribe button. [00:33:54] Speaker A: Hit the buttons like. And subscribe. Subscribe, baby. [00:33:57] Speaker B: Oh, Sean. Cut it, Cut it. Time we was here.
