[00:00:00] Speaker A: The Hawaiian Comedian presents. I. I've been doing comedy for over 20, 23 years, and I've been on the road. I've been in different cities. I've been different things like that. [00:00:07] Speaker B: We're here to talk about everything, man. The topics you talk about with your friends, your family, questions you got for us. Putting in the city. [00:00:14] Speaker A: Aloha. [00:00:20] Speaker B: There's some spice today, man. I might. I just want to skip my intro and get straight to it because. Bro, did I bring it to you? [00:00:26] Speaker A: I was just. I mean, I was just sprinkling it with Tabasco sauce. [00:00:28] Speaker B: We had a conversation, and let me get to the basics. What's up, Twitty in the City? I'm Twitty. That's thc. How you doing, thc? Because I feel like after this, we're going to be on opposite sides, which is very rare. [00:00:42] Speaker A: I don't know what it is, but, like, I'm. [00:00:44] Speaker B: I'm. [00:00:45] Speaker A: I'm feeling a little spicy right now. [00:00:47] Speaker B: I know you. How about this? How about this? By the way, thank you for liking. Thank you for subscribing. If you haven't, please do that. HC up on YouTube. He's commenting to me. [00:00:55] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:00:56] Speaker B: Instagram, Tik tok, Facebook, all of that. I'm doing the liking and the commenting. Also, we will be getting to some more of your questions. Y'all are getting kind of dicey on. [00:01:04] Speaker A: These really, like, really, like, it's coming. It's coming in now. [00:01:07] Speaker B: It's coming in now. I like it, but I'm like, man, they are really hitting us with. [00:01:11] Speaker A: I think that's what's making me a little spicy right now is because it's like, okay, okay. There's a little bit of interest out there. [00:01:16] Speaker B: Yeah. But before we get started, let's get you a little unspiced. [00:01:19] Speaker A: Okay. [00:01:19] Speaker B: Before we walk to the studio. Correction, HC been talking about this for about a week now. Inform the people why you are now team suspenders. Which, by the way, if you are a suspender company, I don't know too many people that talk about suspenders, but it's only been two weeks. About every day, three times. Three times in one day. This man is talking about how he's. [00:01:40] Speaker A: Telling you there are so many times yours. There was. There was so many times I forgot a belt. Going to. Going someplace. Had the pants, had the stuff. And you look for the belt. You don't find a belt. The belt, to me, I mean, if you're a belt wearer, please enjoy your belts. But I am digging the Suspenders now it's a sport. It supports my pants to a. To a point that I've never had with a belt. [00:02:04] Speaker B: This, by the way, is not a ad. This is just straight his. No, it sounds like an ad. [00:02:09] Speaker A: And I'm telling you, it's like. It's easier to go to the bathroom. Usually when you take off your belt, your pants kind of fall down a little bit and so you can get comfortable. This is not. It's like. It's like the curtain on the theater stage. On the stage. It's like it just opens up and it stays open. [00:02:24] Speaker B: Like that is. [00:02:25] Speaker A: Keeps your pants. Keeps your pants up. Like it's perfect. [00:02:28] Speaker B: That's too descriptive. [00:02:29] Speaker A: It's. I know it is, but you asked me and I'm. And I'm just digging. And suspenders look nice, especially if I wear my button ups with my ties. Suspenders look good with that. Like, I'm. I'm. I'm becoming old. That's what it is. I know it because I'm getting excited about suspenders and new tires. That's what. That's how I know I'm getting old. Every time I buy new tires, I gotta stop everybody and be like, yo, yo, y. Yo, look at those. Those all terrain. This isn't touring. It's all terrain. [00:02:55] Speaker B: This is enduring. [00:02:58] Speaker A: No, no. All terrain, baby. [00:03:00] Speaker B: Oh, man. All right, well, if you are debating on suspenders, get in the comments. Dm. Specifically, thc. I'm not on suspenders right now. Yeah, not. Apparently not yet. [00:03:12] Speaker A: When that stuff starts turning white and gray on the side, he gonna be like, hey, thc, what's up, man? Huh? Well, I mean, where you get them suspenders from? Well, I'm telling you, I'm gonna have a whole collection. [00:03:21] Speaker B: I was gonna say, you will be my. Basically the test dummy. You'll be. [00:03:26] Speaker A: I tell you, the double hooks, the double buttons, everything. I can be like, nah, don't get those. Those will make your. The size of your waistband go crinkle. You're gonna have to get those ones that keep it nice and smooth. [00:03:35] Speaker B: Oh, God. So you got questions about suspenders. If you're in that life, we got a guy. And if you are looking to sponsor somebody for suspenders, oh, this guy will definitely. You might. You might get more than your bargain. They might hit you up and be like, look, man, we need you to take it. [00:03:52] Speaker A: If that happens, we'll make it a suspender segment. [00:03:54] Speaker B: We didn't ask you to do a live while you was on the toilet with your suspenders. [00:03:58] Speaker A: Hey, and it's so much easier, man. It's so much easier. [00:04:01] Speaker B: You going to get us canceled for. [00:04:03] Speaker A: Too many suspended lives, right? [00:04:10] Speaker B: All right, so I, I came strapped today. [00:04:14] Speaker A: Okay. All right. That's what you was telling me? [00:04:16] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah, I was telling me you. [00:04:18] Speaker A: Said I'm hit you with something. You didn't even want to tell me what it was. [00:04:22] Speaker B: Oh, because we, we was on this topic the other day. [00:04:27] Speaker A: Okay, okay. [00:04:28] Speaker B: And for the people. Yes. This is a coupon to kfc. Why? [00:04:33] Speaker A: I know where you're going. [00:04:34] Speaker B: Yes, for the people out there, we gotta bring em up to speed. So let's start with how we got on this conversation. [00:04:41] Speaker A: Okay. [00:04:42] Speaker B: You mentioned about how you was at McDonald's and how this item cost you this much. So I will let you take the floor to set this up on this topic we about to get into. [00:04:53] Speaker A: Okay. When I pulled in, I was going down to see my son graduate from San Diego. He was graduating from the Marine Corps. I was going down to his boot camp graduation and we stopped in Fallon And I got two meals for breakfast now. Two meals? Breakfast meals at McDonald's. Yeah, two meals. Two Egg McMuffin, two hash brown, two orange juice. [00:05:14] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:05:16] Speaker A: This person that helped me had the nerve to look me in my face and say 34.95 3495. I drove away and I didn't pay nothing at the window. I drove away. [00:05:29] Speaker B: I do not disagree, but I'm also imagining you were probably in a small town. So some people out there gonna be like, well, we have to jack the price up, but should it for two meals? Even in a small town I should hear a low. No, in a small town I'll go mid teens. [00:05:47] Speaker A: I'll put it out. I could have paid less if I walked into a restaurant and sat down. [00:05:52] Speaker B: Yes. [00:05:52] Speaker A: I would have paid less than that. [00:05:54] Speaker B: And got more food. [00:05:55] Speaker A: Oh yeah. And it would have been nice hot coming straight out. It wouldn't have been something that I was waiting for to get thrown in the window, to get thrown back into another bag to get thrown out to me. [00:06:02] Speaker B: Yes. So yeah, I hc told me that and I was like, bro, 30 something dollars is. [00:06:09] Speaker A: I can't even forget the price. Like the price is still like stuck in your brain. It's burnt in the back of my memory. [00:06:14] Speaker B: She hit you with that price and you was like, nah, this ain't happening. And I'm assuming she probably had her hand out like she was ready. [00:06:21] Speaker A: Oh, like it was like a normal, like it was normal to her. [00:06:23] Speaker B: 32.95. [00:06:24] Speaker A: That's it. Like here it is. 34.95. [00:06:27] Speaker B: Sorry, 30. [00:06:28] Speaker A: 30. I'm just not leaving my head. [00:06:30] Speaker B: 34.95. So, HC Sarah's story. I totally agree. And we go in the conversation, which is true of how fast food is. It's ridiculous. Like two people even here in Idaho. And probably no matter where you're at or where you're listening, we appreciate you. Two meals is almost the price of me going and actually sitting down in a restaurant. It is like HC now where I got defensive and we got to do some math. [00:06:59] Speaker A: Okay. [00:06:59] Speaker B: Is you. And quote me. Now, you stated to me there is a 16 piece meal, white and dark meat piece for 35.99. [00:07:13] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:07:15] Speaker B: Now with. Okay, so first of all, I read that and I said that's not bad. HC looked at me as if like I slapped him and his whole family in the face. [00:07:25] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:07:26] Speaker B: And said, that should be 20 something dollars. [00:07:29] Speaker A: Yes. [00:07:30] Speaker B: But bro, for 2999 is the 12 piece meal. [00:07:36] Speaker A: Right there. [00:07:37] Speaker B: Dark meat. [00:07:37] Speaker A: Okay. No, no, right there, right there. You said a dozen. [00:07:41] Speaker B: Yes. [00:07:42] Speaker A: I'm only getting 12 pieces for $30. You see, you can put in biscuits. No, you can throw inside. And that's not taking me away that I'm only getting 12 pieces. [00:07:51] Speaker B: Bro, you're getting. Okay. [00:07:52] Speaker A: When I grew up, that bucket used to hold like 85 pieces in the middle of that thing. It never ran out. [00:07:59] Speaker B: I get that. And I also get bro times the economy has gone up some. But I. All right, let's break this down. Okay, so let's. [00:08:11] Speaker A: Let's break this greedy. I'm sorry, that's being greedy. [00:08:14] Speaker B: Oh, okay. Also, Sean, our producer in the back, this is where I need you to start doing math. So let me ask you this, because I'm also doing math because there's stuff up here you was okay with. So three piece tender combo. Three pieces, 6.99. [00:08:31] Speaker A: Okay. [00:08:31] Speaker B: Are you cool with that? That comes with three chicken tenders. [00:08:35] Speaker A: Okay. [00:08:36] Speaker B: Fries. [00:08:37] Speaker A: Okay. [00:08:37] Speaker B: Biscuit. [00:08:38] Speaker A: Okay. [00:08:38] Speaker B: Medium drink. [00:08:39] Speaker A: Medium drink. [00:08:41] Speaker B: 6.99. [00:08:42] Speaker A: Yes. [00:08:43] Speaker B: You're cool with that? [00:08:44] Speaker A: I'm good with that. [00:08:44] Speaker B: Okay. Keep that in mind. [00:08:46] Speaker A: Now, hold on now. [00:08:47] Speaker B: Oh, gosh. [00:08:48] Speaker A: That is pushing my limit. I will, I will. [00:08:50] Speaker B: So what is that supposed to be? [00:08:52] Speaker A: 5.99, 4.994. 4.99, 4.99. Don't sound bad to me because after taxes you still over five bucks. Keep going. That's what I'm saying is some people be greedy. They greedy with this stuff. [00:09:05] Speaker B: Okay, let's go with this. Then. So that was a tender. I might, I might give you that one. Let's get to actual chicken. That also is going to match this 12 piece. [00:09:12] Speaker A: Okay, match it. [00:09:14] Speaker B: Two piece chicken, a biscuit, individual mashed potatoes with gravy. 499. [00:09:22] Speaker A: Is that with a mixed or do you get to pick which two pieces? [00:09:25] Speaker B: This is drumstick and thigh. [00:09:27] Speaker A: Drumstick and thigh. So you get a drum. As long as it's not a drumstick in a wing. [00:09:33] Speaker B: No, this says drumstick slash thigh. [00:09:36] Speaker A: Okay. With the thighs. The thigh that kind of goes in there. If it was a breast, that would have been a little bit better. [00:09:43] Speaker B: Okay. [00:09:44] Speaker A: But jumpstick in the thigh for 499.99. I can, I can live with that. [00:09:48] Speaker B: Okay. [00:09:48] Speaker A: They're going to push me over $5. [00:09:50] Speaker B: Right. Okay, now that's for your two piece. [00:09:53] Speaker A: Okay. [00:09:53] Speaker B: Now let's go to this. Let's go to the 12 piece meal. This is where the mask got to come in for me, Sean. So you was able to get two pieces of chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and a biscuit for 4.99. Now you're gonna go 12 pieces. [00:10:10] Speaker A: Okay. [00:10:10] Speaker B: White or dark? So you're getting 12 pieces of chicken, two large mashed potatoes with gravy, which you was getting a individual. So I don't even think that counts as a small. In the regular two piece. [00:10:24] Speaker A: You're only really paying for the. The box that it comes in. [00:10:26] Speaker B: One bro. You get a one large creamy coleslaw. You don't get the coleslaw in the two piece, which I will agree. You used to get that in the two piece. Used to. Used to. They took it out. But you're getting that and six biscuits. So if you equate this math, 4.99 for a two piece meal. Two times what gets you to 12, that's six. So four times. [00:10:52] Speaker A: Wait, wait. Two times what gets you to twelve. [00:10:55] Speaker B: Two times X gets you to twelve. Two times six. [00:10:58] Speaker A: Okay. [00:10:58] Speaker B: Gets you to twelve. So therefore, if it's six of these two piece meals that get you to twelve pieces, and this was 4.99. Okay, so basically go to five. Five times six is thirty. [00:11:12] Speaker A: Oh, I see what the problem is. You think I got some kind of logic to this. [00:11:17] Speaker B: Oh, you got to. [00:11:19] Speaker A: No. [00:11:20] Speaker B: What? [00:11:20] Speaker A: It's food and you, bro. [00:11:22] Speaker B: No, if you're paying two piece for. [00:11:26] Speaker A: I'm looking at how much I'm spending at the moment that you charging me right there. So what you're saying is if I'm mad at the 12 piece. Then I should be mad at the other one because. Because it's the same thing. It's just broke down in the portion. Yes, but it's a portion that I'm willing to pay. I'm not willing to pay this $30 for this just 12 pieces. [00:11:45] Speaker B: But you're getting. [00:11:46] Speaker A: And I'm spending and look, let's break it down. How much is it? 30. What? 35? No, no, no, no, no. [00:11:51] Speaker B: I didn't get to that one yet. I, I'm. Let's, let's focus on the 12 piece. That was 29 that you said no to. [00:11:56] Speaker A: Okay, okay. You're still, you're still over $30 for 12 pieces. Okay. You're only over into five bucks for the two pieces. Which kind of breaks down to the same. I'm only, I'm only. You only hitting me for five bucks only. [00:12:10] Speaker B: But again, you're also. [00:12:11] Speaker A: How much you really going to eat out of this 12 piece? You going to eat all 12? No. [00:12:15] Speaker B: You supposed to be buying that for. If you like the family like I remember growing up at grandma house, me and my three cousins, we spend the night. That's when grandma and granddad would get the 12 piece. [00:12:25] Speaker A: You're not going to get me off it. 25 bucks, bro, that meal is worth $25 to me. How one? I mean the potato, you want everything. You gonna tell me. You tell. You tell me the potato is 100% real. [00:12:38] Speaker B: Maybe here in Idaho tastes like the. [00:12:42] Speaker A: Same that I ate up in Nevada and in California taste the same, but bro, gravy tastes the same. [00:12:48] Speaker B: You're getting a. You're adding a cold slot that you're basically saying at no value. Cuz the two piece deal by itself gets you to 30. [00:12:57] Speaker A: Okay, you got Sean in the background waiting with his calculator. Give him some math on it. Let's see if it really breaks. [00:13:01] Speaker B: He did. [00:13:02] Speaker A: I think it comes down to the same math. [00:13:04] Speaker B: No, it's not. So Sean, if he was following me, if you equated 499 times 6 for the two piece, what does that equate to? Is that more or less than 29.99 for a 12 piece? Might I add that you are getting a large creamy coleslaw. That coleslaw is not even included in the two piece. [00:13:28] Speaker A: I feel like you speak. [00:13:30] Speaker B: Let him speak. [00:13:31] Speaker C: Okay, so. So 4.99 was the price of the two piece biscuit mash, correct? [00:13:36] Speaker B: Yes, sir. [00:13:37] Speaker C: Okay, times that by six because you're getting 12 pieces, correct? That comes out to 29.94 on the calculator. [00:13:45] Speaker B: So 29.94. [00:13:47] Speaker C: So around the same. [00:13:47] Speaker B: And so around the same. [00:13:49] Speaker A: Okay, so I'm just taking a portion of the portion I didn't like. [00:13:54] Speaker B: Yes. [00:13:54] Speaker A: Yeah, exactly. I'm not gonna pay for the whole portion if I'm hungry and I'm gonna get it. I'm on a portion of the point. If I. If you cut in and you say, hey, you could buy this Ferrari right now, or you could just buy the two front wheels and keep it in your garage. I got two front wheels in my garage, bro. [00:14:10] Speaker B: No. [00:14:10] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:14:10] Speaker B: You can't equate a car to this. [00:14:12] Speaker A: Yeah, I could. It's all an object. All of it. To me, it's. They're all objects. They just got prices on it, but the prices all work the same. It's the same thing. Like he was saying, like, it breaks down of it. So I'm buying a portion of the portion. [00:14:23] Speaker B: Yes, but you're. You're right. You're 4 cents off and basically saying for an extra 4 cents, you're getting a large, creamy coleslaw. [00:14:33] Speaker A: Ooh, 4 cents. You don't. That's not. That's not sweetening the deal. [00:14:37] Speaker C: My thing is, I feel like the more you buy, you should be saving, like, just in normal. [00:14:46] Speaker A: Save. [00:14:46] Speaker C: Save. More like buying bulk. [00:14:48] Speaker A: Sean, I like. I like. I know how much Twitty likes Costco. I think he's trying to just force me into buying wholesale. I mean, what it feels like. [00:14:55] Speaker B: I mean, I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna lie. You need to go wholesale. [00:14:58] Speaker A: Yeah, that's. That's what it feels like. [00:15:00] Speaker B: That's like, forget the. Forget the 12 piece, bro. Just go get the breast yourself and cook them. Yeah, like, you got an air fryer. You got all that. [00:15:06] Speaker A: I can. I can take a portion of proportion. [00:15:08] Speaker B: I agree with Sean. The whole thing should be cheaper. My whole thing was. You was trying to make it seem like this was an outrageous price. [00:15:16] Speaker A: Correct. Outrageous, bro. [00:15:18] Speaker B: 30. [00:15:19] Speaker A: The more I yell, the more you. And then you look back again, you'd be like, hey, you know what? They moved that down to 31.99. I was like, hey, you welcome. No, it was people like me that was like, going, n. This don't sound all that great. That's when they look and they go, if there's more like me that don't say it sound good, they will drop the price. [00:15:36] Speaker B: That is true. [00:15:37] Speaker A: Okay, but tell me. But tell me where they get that power to do that. And if they have the Power to do that. Then why did they have them up all the way anyway? [00:15:45] Speaker B: Well, because it's a. It's freaking America. Right? [00:15:48] Speaker A: I. I get it. So. So you was being greedy, period. Yeah. 100. So don't be mad at me. When I look at you and I go, no, I pay a portion of the portion. [00:15:58] Speaker B: Yeah, I'm not mad at you. I just. And you're, you're outrageous. You're selling it. It was outrageous. [00:16:04] Speaker A: I wish my mind. [00:16:06] Speaker B: I wish I had the Ray Ban, Snapchat. You know, people, you made it sound like they was trying to freaking charge you 40. [00:16:13] Speaker A: Let me tell you something. People like me are the reason why when you drive down the freeway and you see that sign that says the fine is $271. Yeah. They like. Where that $1 come from is people like me, we speak up. They got to put that $1 in there to cover all the complaints they get. Like me. That $1 in that fine. Because it's just crazy. If you look at the fine, you like 271. Like, why not 270 or 270? Yeah, it was $1. That $1 is for people like me. That's right. I speak up. And then when your price drops, I want you to look back and say, hey, Sean, or Hey, THC. Thank you. [00:16:50] Speaker C: How much do you think the two piece biscuit mash should be then? It's 4.99 right now. [00:16:55] Speaker B: So what would you. What would you. So, okay, let's do this math. So you want 12 piece. You said 20. 25. [00:17:03] Speaker A: 25 bucks. [00:17:04] Speaker B: 25 bucks. [00:17:05] Speaker A: 25 bucks will get me to look at your deal. How about that? If you say 25, you might catch my interest of me. So, you know, we're going you. And that's when I would ask you 25 bucks for what? [00:17:18] Speaker B: So ideally, you want this freaking 12 piece to be $20, not 25, which. [00:17:22] Speaker A: Within tax it'd be about 27. [00:17:26] Speaker B: Sorry, Sean, we need to go to camera two. Are you talking about face? Make that same face you just said when you said 25. [00:17:34] Speaker A: 25. [00:17:35] Speaker B: 25. Yeah, to pique my interest. [00:17:38] Speaker A: To pique my. Well, to get me to go. Well, I'm listening. [00:17:41] Speaker B: No, I'm asking what price you wanted. At that you'd be like, great deal, great price. I would buy that. [00:17:46] Speaker A: Oh, for. [00:17:47] Speaker B: Realistically, because I know you about to hit me with some 14, 1599. [00:17:52] Speaker A: 1999. [00:17:53] Speaker B: 19. Okay. [00:17:54] Speaker A: 1999 would almost get me to buy two of them. How about that? See, now that's Where I'll do it, that's how much. And I'm frugal like that. I'm sorry. So then I'm real frugal about that. [00:18:06] Speaker B: Because I agree with Sean. It's got to be a deal. So then that means you're going to piece at 4.99. You got to bring that down. [00:18:15] Speaker A: You talking, you talking. First of all, you're talking about food. Okay. I raised four kids, three of which are boys, Polynesian boys. [00:18:23] Speaker B: So I, that's what I'm saying. [00:18:24] Speaker A: Yeah. So I'm telling you in 1999, you will, you will, you will stop me every time. 1999 will stop me every time. I, I, you should make that a on a bumper stickers, 19.99 to give me every time. [00:18:36] Speaker C: How many of you think that 12 piece. Like, how many people would that feed in a family? [00:18:41] Speaker B: 12. You get 12. It's 12 pieces of chicken, two large mashed potatoes and gravy, one large creamy coleslaw and six biscuits. [00:18:50] Speaker A: That's three of my boys eating. And I'm not eating anything. I'm probably getting one biscuit and one piece of chicken. [00:18:55] Speaker B: I can't disagree with that. Cause I easily can take. Back in high school, I easily could have took three of those biscuits myself. [00:19:02] Speaker C: So that's 9.98 per person. [00:19:04] Speaker B: $9.98 per person. [00:19:06] Speaker A: Oh, yeah, that's about right. Yeah. I would get that at like 10 bucks a piece. [00:19:09] Speaker B: Well, you said it's feeding three of your boys, so they're both getting a two piece. Oh, sorry. They're both getting two biscuits for sure. Because they're gonna. If they're like me, fat kid at heart, you're taking each biscuit and you're gonna take each piece of that chicken breast and make you a sandwich. Put the mashed potatoes on top of that. And if you really bougie, put the coleslaw to add a little top to it. [00:19:27] Speaker A: Oh. Or inside. [00:19:28] Speaker B: So they're biscuits open. [00:19:30] Speaker A: You put the coleslaw inside. [00:19:31] Speaker B: So they're just gonna eat two of those. So two. That's six. So they're gonna be maybe six or five pieces of chicken left. [00:19:41] Speaker A: You said the word left. That word. That word. Yeah, that leftover stuff like that. That really didn't work. [00:19:47] Speaker B: No, you said that you wouldn't eat. I'm. So you're saying all three of your boys would have four. [00:19:52] Speaker A: My boys would devour. [00:19:53] Speaker B: Have all four. They would each have four, right? Yeah. Four times three. [00:19:56] Speaker A: All day. All day. Chicken all day. [00:19:59] Speaker B: So you have none of that. There maybe be that little corner in the match. [00:20:03] Speaker A: There are things. There are things that do not last in my refrigerator. [00:20:06] Speaker B: And chicken. I. I don't. [00:20:07] Speaker A: Chicken don't last. Cantaloupe don't last. Watermelon don't last. In fact, my kids would take these fruits before they would eat cookies. [00:20:15] Speaker B: Oh, yeah, watermelon. Every summer my mom had two of them. [00:20:20] Speaker A: Cantaloupe I couldn't keep in my house if it. Even if I got the little dice ones that was ready to go and the plastic ones gone, you can't try. [00:20:27] Speaker B: To contain us and tell me, I'm gonna have one of those. [00:20:29] Speaker A: Yeah. My kids would put the container back and be like, one or two pieces of cantaloupe in there. Like that's gonna help somebody else look at the cantaloupe. [00:20:36] Speaker B: Like, no, that's a bunch of baloney. So we're looking at 999 each. So then. So you're saying 19. So what are you making? The two piece? Are you keeping the two piece at 5? All right, 4.99 to, like, Sean's credit is that the 12 piece has to be saving you money. [00:20:51] Speaker A: No, 5, 9. What did he say? 5.99 for the 4. [00:20:53] Speaker B: 4.90. So I mean, it's $5. [00:20:55] Speaker A: 4.99. Okay. [00:20:56] Speaker B: Two pieces of chicken, one mash and one biscuit. [00:21:00] Speaker A: No drink though, right? [00:21:02] Speaker B: No, not for the two piece. [00:21:03] Speaker A: Ah, see, that's what they see. That's where they throw it off. And then the other one, they put a drink in it, right? [00:21:07] Speaker B: Yeah. Here we go. For two whole extra dollars. Okay, $2 and an extra piece of chicken. Three piece combo is 6.99. You get a drink. Medium drink, they specify. [00:21:20] Speaker A: Okay, sometimes they. Mediums would be pretty big though, right? Like. Yeah. [00:21:25] Speaker B: What. How are you feeling about that? Three piece. Three pieces of chicken. [00:21:28] Speaker A: Okay, Three pieces. [00:21:29] Speaker B: And it's. Sorry. And it specifies drumstick slash thigh combo. So when I read that that means you could go all thighs. Two thighs in the drumstick. Two drumsticks in the thigh. All drumsticks. Still an individual mash, which. That's child's play. [00:21:46] Speaker A: Okay. [00:21:47] Speaker B: One biscuit, one medium drink. That is $2 more than the three. Than the two piece. And you're getting a whole extra chicken and you're getting a medium drink. [00:21:58] Speaker A: Yes, because see, how I look at that is I'm paying $3 more, but I'm actually just throwing in an extra $50 on each item. [00:22:05] Speaker B: Actually, it's less than that. You're Putting. You're adding an extra dollar. [00:22:07] Speaker A: See, when you say something like that, my interest peaks even more. [00:22:11] Speaker B: See? Yeah, because you went from 4.99 to 6.99. [00:22:14] Speaker A: But right now, you making fun of me for seeing is what I'm saying. [00:22:17] Speaker B: No, I was making fun of you when maybe we need 34. [00:22:20] Speaker A: 30. And you know what it was? If you would have said $30, maybe if you would have said 30, I kind of would have been like, you're saying what? [00:22:26] Speaker B: I will backtrack. [00:22:27] Speaker A: It's that $5. That extra $5. I don't know what it is. [00:22:31] Speaker B: Beast was 39. But wait, though. Hang on, bro. [00:22:35] Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no. The math ain't right. [00:22:37] Speaker B: No, the math is right. It is because you said the 12 piece should be 19, and you're saying the 16 piece should be 29.99. [00:22:45] Speaker A: So 10 extra dollars, 29.99 to pique my interest. Not for me to actually reach in my wallet and be like, that's a good deal. [00:22:51] Speaker B: But if you got. Okay, let's go back. [00:22:54] Speaker A: I'm just being honest. Growing up, I love kfc. I love KFC to death. I've always eaten kfc, so don't get mad at me right now. [00:23:01] Speaker B: They gonna watch this and we ain't even gonna get them kfc. [00:23:04] Speaker A: I'm. Some people don't like kfc. Some people like other places like Popeyes and stuff like that. Yeah. And that's fine that you. You prefer what you prefer. I'm telling you right now. Growing up as a Polynesian kid, my mom would buy Kentucky Fried Chicken in the bucket and put it in the refrigerator. Next day, she would make rice and she would put them up in little balls, wrap them in cellophane, and leave them there. And we could have cold chicken and rice balls. [00:23:25] Speaker B: So good. [00:23:26] Speaker A: And that's how we. That's how I was raised. I love kfc. Kfc. I love y'all. I've always liked kfc. Some people out there right now, I don't like kfc. I don't care. I do. [00:23:35] Speaker B: Side note, did you have a KFC where they had the buffet? [00:23:39] Speaker A: Oh, yeah. [00:23:40] Speaker B: KFC was the only one doing that. As a fast food bro. [00:23:43] Speaker A: I was the one. I was probably the one. The reason why they was thinking about taking it away. This is why they haven't break down in this, because they based it off of me going to the buffet. They like. Nah, man, he gonna grab at least six biscuits. We gotta. That's how they even came up with these type of combos is they watch people at the buffet, they was writing down what they was grabbing and going. [00:24:05] Speaker B: We need all this. [00:24:06] Speaker A: Yeah. That needs to be a number one. Well, she put three pieces in there. We gonna add $3 to that, because she grabbed. Now she got three pieces. So instead of it all being like this, they only a dollar a piece now. [00:24:18] Speaker B: So this is why you trying to go back because, you know, you. You know you ate more than what you should have. [00:24:23] Speaker A: Yes. [00:24:23] Speaker B: Cuz what that. The buffet. [00:24:25] Speaker A: That is the point of a buffet. [00:24:27] Speaker B: You couldn't beat that. I think a buffet if you was 8 and under, I think it was like 5.99, bro. [00:24:32] Speaker A: I'm going tell you something. Every time I walked into a buffet, I took it as a challenge. Oh, same like when you tell me I can just get up as many times as I need to and make as much as I want to. Oh, oh, it's home, bro. [00:24:43] Speaker B: One time, I kid you not. I didn't do it on purpose, but I won. I went to Golden Corral for breakfast. [00:24:49] Speaker A: Okay. Okay. [00:24:50] Speaker B: Ate too much. And it hit me. Had to go to the bathroom. Well, I was in there so long, they transitioned from breakfast to lunch. And I walked out, and the lady said, did you find your seat? And I said, I sure did. I had breakfast and lunch buffet. Paying once, bruh. [00:25:11] Speaker A: My sister had a boyfriend. His name was Dennis. This is back when Sizzler was offering the all you can eat shrimp. [00:25:17] Speaker B: Oh, gosh. [00:25:18] Speaker A: So him and I, we looked at each other, cuz, you know, he was my. He was my. My sister's boyfriend. So he was like, I'm meeting her. Her brother. [00:25:24] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:25:25] Speaker A: You know, so, you know, if he can do it, I can do it, brah. 19 plates. 19 plates each, each. Each. He had to stay with me, and I was pounding him. I was like. I was asking for another plate when they brought me the plate. [00:25:40] Speaker B: Oh, you got to. So it stays hot. [00:25:42] Speaker A: Yep. [00:25:42] Speaker B: And you don't have to wait, because if you wait, then your stomach will expand and you got to keep. [00:25:46] Speaker A: You got to keep going. You got halfway. [00:25:47] Speaker B: They're like, can I get you anything? I'll take another water. Another plate. [00:25:50] Speaker A: Y. [00:25:50] Speaker B: You want me to wait? Note when you bring it. I will be ready. [00:25:53] Speaker A: We had nine stack. Nine plates stacked too, too tall like that once. Well, once it got, like, to a certain thing. They kept going, but we kept track of how many were getting stacked up. But I had 19, and he had 19, and he almost died at 19. He sat there on that last one. It was like, you got to take it, cuz I did it. We went home, threw all that up. [00:26:13] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:26:14] Speaker A: We were so sick, bro. We were so sick. But we weren't giving up. We weren't giving. Now every time I walk into a buffet, I'm like, oh, okay. You want the challenge? [00:26:21] Speaker B: It is a challenge. [00:26:22] Speaker A: It's a challenge. [00:26:23] Speaker B: Okay. We. Oh, we've been talking long. [00:26:25] Speaker A: That's all right. [00:26:26] Speaker B: It's all right, though. Okay. I need to ask you this eight piece. So two piece, you cool with? [00:26:32] Speaker A: Okay. [00:26:33] Speaker B: No, that's fine. [00:26:34] Speaker A: It's a 4.99. [00:26:35] Speaker B: Yes. So two piece was 4.99. [00:26:37] Speaker A: Okay, I'm with it. [00:26:38] Speaker B: Three piece, you're getting an extra piece of chicken and a medium drink. 6.99. You were. [00:26:44] Speaker A: Yes. [00:26:44] Speaker B: Fine with that. [00:26:45] Speaker A: Yes. [00:26:45] Speaker B: Okay. [00:26:46] Speaker A: Because I broke it down as each one, it was like you said, it was less than $1.50 a piece. [00:26:50] Speaker B: I already know you about to. You ain't gonna say. You ain't gonna say yes to this. And it's. [00:26:53] Speaker A: How do you know? How do you know? You didn't even ask. [00:26:56] Speaker B: I'm going to read the description. If you read eight piecemeal, 23.99. [00:27:00] Speaker A: Nope. [00:27:01] Speaker B: See? [00:27:01] Speaker A: No, I didn't see. Nope. Punch you in the face. [00:27:03] Speaker B: Eight pieces of chicken. [00:27:05] Speaker A: The face. You tell me I got to pay almost $25 and you only gonna give me eight pieces? That's. I'm. I'm not even worried about the size. You could talk about the size all day. I don't even want to hear about them. [00:27:14] Speaker B: Why does the size gotta matter? [00:27:16] Speaker A: The sides matter. It matters to them or else they wouldn't offer that. They wouldn't try to sweeten the deal by telling me I'm gonna get a large instead of just the two little cups. [00:27:24] Speaker B: This is. This is where I should have pulled it up. [00:27:27] Speaker A: You can't. You can't tell me. The minute you tell me almost 25 and you only giving me eight pieces. When I buy these combos, I'm gonna let y'all know when. I don't know if anybody else does this. When I buy the combo, I'm really only reading how many pieces of chicken I'm getting. I' 100%. Because you gotta care about the side. No, I don't. You know why I don't? Because I'm Polynesian. I know how to make rice. I know how to make other stuff that I can put on the side I don't need. Then you don't need to be. Then you don't need to be getting only excited about. Let me. Let me ask you this. When I go on to the online app, okay, I. Look, I. You know that spot where. Where it says chicken only? That's where I find the best deals right there. [00:28:07] Speaker B: Well, yeah. [00:28:07] Speaker A: Well, okay. Well, so how come I can get that still same amount of chicken but I'm paying less? It's because you char charging me more for the sides. [00:28:15] Speaker B: I don't know if I can get my. [00:28:17] Speaker A: You know how many times I bought just chicken only and then brought them to the house and had a fresh pot of rice already ready to go so I can mix it with the butter. Yeah, I'm good. [00:28:24] Speaker B: Yeah, but you're still. [00:28:27] Speaker A: It's cheaper. [00:28:28] Speaker B: Yes, it's cheaper, hc. Ain't nobody debating that. [00:28:31] Speaker A: So I'm good. You can't. You. I'm just saying you can't add sides to a combo and tempt me to pay more is what I'm saying. [00:28:39] Speaker B: They can't tempt you. But. Okay, they trying to. What. [00:28:42] Speaker A: But what? [00:28:43] Speaker B: Price is okay, so you trying to. [00:28:46] Speaker A: Find where my borderline is? [00:28:48] Speaker B: Yes. [00:28:48] Speaker A: I got to know you. Why? No, because they watching right now, and if they figure me out, they gonna start. They're gonna start fixing this. [00:28:55] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:28:56] Speaker A: No, I don't want them to fix it. [00:28:57] Speaker B: You don't. [00:28:58] Speaker A: No. [00:28:58] Speaker B: You don't want them to fix it. [00:28:59] Speaker A: To the right price from the very beginning of what you offering, but you. [00:29:03] Speaker B: Don'T want them to know so they can fix. [00:29:06] Speaker A: Only takes one person. I like them playing the game poker with their cards facing me so I can see exactly what they holding. That's how I like it. I'm just. I'm. I'm. I'm. I don't know. My mom taught me how to do that. My mom used to, like. She taught me how to shop. [00:29:21] Speaker B: She would. [00:29:21] Speaker A: She come, we go to stores, she be like it says 5.99. [00:29:24] Speaker B: Well, how do you cross the street. [00:29:25] Speaker A: And find it for 3.99? [00:29:27] Speaker B: How do you feel about they pot pie just being $5? [00:29:29] Speaker A: I'm not into their Popeyes. That's one thing I'm not into. KFC is the Popeyes. Honestly, I'm. I'm not into them. [00:29:36] Speaker B: Two chicken sandwiches, $7. [00:29:38] Speaker A: Mm. [00:29:41] Speaker B: Let's see. Classic or spicy? [00:29:43] Speaker A: You know what would get me to look at two chicken sandwiches if it was five. Two for five. Two for five. I'm telling you, two for five. I will come in there and drop. [00:29:51] Speaker B: Why does $5. [00:29:52] Speaker A: I will come down there, drop $10. Because I'm a walk away with four sandwiches. I will come in and I will drop $10 every time for 10. [00:29:59] Speaker B: But you won't freaking look at eight pieces. [00:30:02] Speaker A: Sandwich. It's a whole different thing, man. It's a whole different thing. [00:30:06] Speaker B: We out. Next episode Time stamp. Cut it. I'm done. This dude said he would spend ten freaking dollars for a sandwich. I'm done. [00:30:17] Speaker A: Four sandwiches. I'm done. [00:30:20] Speaker B: I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. I'm done. Oh, this guy. Tune in next week, man. [00:30:27] Speaker A: I'm. [00:30:28] Speaker B: Oh, this gu.
